Watching Main Vaapas Aaunga felt deeply personal. My grandparents were children during Partition. They carried those wounds all their lives, rebuilding everything from scratch, starting over with courage, and living with memories that never really left them. Their stories were whispered through my childhood, and this film brought back emotions that had quietly stayed hidden for years in our family..
