How convenient. When the IMF criticised India’s GDP calculation methodology in November 2025, the BJP ecosystem dismissed it as though the IMF had issued the statement at the Congress party's behest. Now that the same IMF has endorsed India’s GDP growth, it has suddenly become a demigod for the entire ecosystem. This is what happens when people who understand very little about economics - or anything - come to power: they live and die by the comments of institutions they barely understand. IMF or not, our questions remain: if growth is so “impressive”, why isn’t it reflected in the daily lives of ordinary Indians? Until the government provides convincing answers, no amount of external endorsement can wish these questions away.

Interestingly, one of those videos literally shows nothing except Amit Shah's face. We do sort of agree that it’s not a very likeable face, but it is not graphic. Or is it?

If young girls are assaulted for demanding something as basic as decent mess food and hygiene, then something is terribly wrong. That is what happened at Aligarh Muslim University and Jamia Millia, Delhi. The proctorial staff assaulted and got into scuffles with students demanding better basic amenities. It is humiliating, dictatorial and repulsively cruel.

The question is simple: what happened to Rajesh while he was in the custody of Yogi’s Police?
