Everyone wants to know why the Portland Trail Blazers are winning more games under Tiago Splitter than Chauncey Billups. This really reminds me of the Boston Celtics under Brad Stevens vs Ime Udoka. Udoka emphasized ball movement in the 4th quarter, where the Celtics traditionally opted for my iso opportunities that led to nothing but headaches for Celtics fans. Trail Blazers under Tiago Splitter are moving the ball late and Jrue Holiday's poise & leadership often sets up Jerami Grant in favorable matchups in the right position. In the NBA, teams tighten up their defenses in the 4th quarter. It takes a great coach & on-court leadership to emphasize good habits late in tight games vs great opponents.
