If you have a NIRA Card, you should probably stay home! I've been saying this for a long time: the NIRA card is only used to control the public, not to provide services. This first part of the video highlights the real purpose of the NIRA card and demonstrates the government's messaging to encourage people to register for it. It’s a beautiful piece of work! The last part is a statement from the capital’s police chief threatening the demonstrators with arrests, saying that he knows their faces, thanks to NIRA.

🚨#Israel has a base in Somaliland! Brigadier General Amir Avivi, Founder of the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDSF), has acknowledged that Israel is developing capabilities in Somaliland. He stated that they have a base in Somaliland to combat the Houthis and to secure Bab el-Mandeb. This statement comes as Somaliland's president, Abdirahman Irro, is in the UAE. Media sources suggest the UAE may soon recognize Somaliland, becoming the second country to do so, after Israel.

#Somaliland is approaching formal recognition as the United States expresses its discontent with the "One Somalia" policy, citing corruption and persistent insecurity in Somalia. Although I have no interest in gambling, I would bet that Somaliland will attain recognition as the newest sovereign nation by the end of this decade.
