🤦🤔In 2004, North Korea offered Nigeria ballistic missile technology and pushed for a defence MoU. That single offer was enough to trigger panic in the West. Washington and London moved immediately, warning Abuja not to take weapons or deals from Pyongyang. Nigeria said the cooperation would only protect its territory and denied any nuclear ambition. It did not matter. The United States stayed firm and forced the deal off the table. Now sit with that. If missile technology alone caused that reaction, imagine the response if Nigeria ever seriously pursued nuclear weapons. No African country will be allowed to build that capacity.
