Circato, a Bengaluru-based startup reimagining construction using net-zero, waste-reducing materials made from multi-layer plastic waste, gained attention at Shark Tank, where the panel was particularly impressed by the library built in Alolli, Chittapur using this approach. This is especially meaningful as Arivu Kendras under RDPR - Government of Karnataka continue to serve as spaces of learning and curiosity in rural communities and the application of such a unique, sustainable solution in Chittapur is proof that real innovation can find relevance, especially in rural contexts. Recently visited Target's Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru today with Hon'ble CM of Karnataka and senior officers from the Government of Karnataka. It was great interacting with the leadership team and learning how Bengaluru has become Target's largest GCC globally, playing a central role in the company's engineering, data science, product development and business operations. Today several key global functions for the company are led from Bengaluru, including the Store Design team responsible for designing over 2,000 Target stores across the United States, as well as the company's Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) capabilities. Target's journey reflects how Karnataka's GCC ecosystem has evolved beyond support functions to become a global hub for product development, innovation and enterprise leadership. Our Government remains committed to strengthening the policy and talent ecosystem that keeps Karnataka at the forefront of the global GCC landscape.

This is the mindless state we have come to. People pledged to boycott Muslims economically & socially after watching a propaganda film. If the BJP & Andh Bhakts are serious about their “boycott politics”, they should ask their supreme leader Narendra Modi to boycott the products India imports from Islamic countries. They can start with crude oil, LNG, LPG, gold, petrochemicals, fertilisers, aluminium, coal, palm oil and much more. Also, they need to rethink about using Kesar, because, about 75% of the kesar used in India comes from Islamic countries.

RSS ನ ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ವಿಕಾರಧಾರೆಯಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಧಾರೆಯೆಡೆಗೆ ಕರೆತರಬೇಕಿದೆ, ಬುದ್ಧ, ಬಸವ, ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಮೌಲ್ಯಯುತ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಮುಗ್ದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಯುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ಇಂತಹ ಕಲುಷಿತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಬಲಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ತಡೆಯುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಹೋರಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೃಢವಾದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಈ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಗಳು, ಬೈಗುಳಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ವಿಚಲಿತನಾಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಅವರ ಭ್ರಮೆಯಷ್ಟೇ. ನನ್ನದು ಕೇವಲ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ರಾಜಕಾರಣವಲ್ಲ, ಸೈದ್ದಾಂತಿಕ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ, ಮುಗ್ದ ಯುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿಷವರ್ತುಲದಿಂದ ಹೊರತರುವ ಜನಕೇಂದ್ರಿತ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ.

The LPG crisis has clearly hit home. The pinch is visible across sectors but the Centre continues to downplay it. In Peenya, one of India’s largest industrial clusters located in Bengaluru, nearly 3,500 MSMEs are on the brink of shutdown with cascading impact on jobs, exports and livelihood. Gas shortages in Surat, Gujarat, are forcing thousands of migrant workers to flee back home. Most factories in Morbi, India's ceramics hub in Gujarat, have shut down for nearly a month Tata Motors in Sanand, Gujarat, has cut production by 50%. Hotels are scrambling. Commercial cylinders are missing. What little is available is being sold in the black market at Rs.5,000-7,000. History is repeating itself yet again, just as it did during demonetisation, the chaotic GST rollout, the COVID ventilator and oxygen failures and the 2022 coal and power crisis. Modi government keeps saying there is no crisis and that the opposition is creating panic. Businesses shutting down is real. Migrant worker distress is real. Loss of livelihoods is real.

Spread across nearly 43 acres, the Kalaburgi Zoo is being developed as a major wildlife, education and family recreation destination for Kalaburagi and the wider Kalyana Karnataka region. The new zoo will house enclosures for 56 species, including nocturnal animals, Indian birds, pheasants, mammals, primates, herbivores, amphibians and reptiles. A total of 23 enclosures have already been completed for species such as lion, tiger, sloth bear, zebra, baboon, langur, spotted deer, golden jackal, turtle, gharial, crocodile, python and various bird and reptile species. The zoo will bring more families, schoolchildren, nature lovers and weekend visitors to Chittapur and Kalaburagi, while also creating opportunities for local employment, transport, food services, guides and small businesses.
