In broad daylight in Effurun, Delta State, 28-year-old Mene Ogidi was already tied up, hands and legs bound, sitting helpless on the ground. He was crying, begging for his life: I was set up… please don’t shoot… I’ll cooperate! But the police officer cocked his rifle and shot him point-blank. No mercy. No trial. Just execution.
