In broad daylight in Effurun, Delta State, 28-year-old Mene Ogidi was already tied up, hands and legs bound, sitting helpless on the ground. He was crying, begging for his life: I was set up… please don’t shoot… I’ll cooperate! But the police officer cocked his rifle and shot him point-blank. No mercy. No trial. Just execution. This is not law enforcement. This is cold-blooded murder by those sworn to protect us. The police is NOT your friend. They are taking the law into their own hands, and innocent Nigerian blood is paying the price. Nigerian lives matter. Justice MUST be served for Mene. It could have been ANY of us.
