A man sucked on a vape and smiled after being allowed to walk free from court after punching and kicking a helpless dog to death. LUKE WALKER, of OXTON ROAD in Road in BIRKENHEAD, pleaded guilty to two offences under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and the defendant also admitted a further charge of criminal damage relating to the dog. Why is the RSPCA (England & Wales) person laughing and joking with him?!? 😡

A sad day for the great Montana Bison. Interior Secretary Doug Bergum, at the request of Little Greg Gianforte and the corporate zombie Montana Senators/Reps, has ended conservation grazing permits for Bison on the great American Prairie, a huge section of restored Bison land in central Montana. Make no mistake, the decision by Bergum is an extension of the nepo-baby, grifting cronyism that currently plagues our federal government. But this time, the victim is the great American Bison. A Dog that had been missing for almost two weeks was saved after she was spotted frantically swimming into San Francisco Bay. Drone footage shows the lost Dog, called Prieta, was last seen on Fourth of July, doggy-paddling half-a-mile out from shore as seagulls circled above. Prieta was reunited with her relieved owners. This video shares the story of a German Shepherd who was returned to the shelter 7 times because he wouldn’t stop crying during the night. It was thought he had severe separation anxiety. An elderly veteran with PTSD adopted him anyway. Both had nightmares from trauma. The veteran recognized the signs, slept beside him, and gently woke him during episodes. After 2 weeks, the nightmares stopped. Now they support each other through it all and never sleep alone. What a heartwarming bond ❤️🩹.

It takes nothing away from human to be kind to an animal ❤️ A police officer gives a Dog ice cream after rescuing it from abusive owner - on one of the hottest days so far as temperatures soar in London. Police were called after the owner was seen beating the Dog. The dog was later taken by the police to kennels. The owner ran off. 😡 PS. Traditional ice cream is generally bad for Dogs. While a tiny lick of plain vanilla is usually not toxic, most Dogs are lactose intolerant

This is excellent ~ callous Dog owner who left her Dog in a hot car gets called out in the best way! Well done officer👮 👏. The police officer called her “callous”. She called what he did “abusive”, but when the woman who admitted to leaving her Dog in a hot car called a news station to complain, she ended up with a dose of karma instead. KOB News investigated what happened and after the woman asked the news channel to look into her complaint against the officer, saying that he forced her to sit in the hot car she had left her Dog in. But the news channel discovered that the officer had a label pin video recording the entire time and it tells a different story. Officer Vincent Kreischer noticed a Dog inside a parked truck at a grocery store’s parking lot in Truth or Consequence, New Mexico, with the temperatures outside of over 90 degrees Fahrenheit and confronted the owner. The woman told him she only left the Dog for 10 minutes, and began to argue with him about how hot it really was. But Officer Kreischer estimated that inside the vehicle would be 114 degrees (45.5 C) after that length of time. When he confronted her, he says she shrugged it off with a laugh and was “callous and carefree” about her dog’s welfare. That’s when he took action. He decided to write her a ticket, and asked her to wait in her car is since, according to her, it wasn’t that hot. “You can wait in the truck and close the door you know, since it’s not that hot,” he responded. Kreischer observed, “She gives me an attitude from word one, and then she doesn’t want to close the door. So I’m like, ‘Oh, but it’s OK if your Dog does.'” In the end, the officer's simple lesson spoke louder than any argument: if you wouldn't sit in a sweltering parked car, your dog shouldn't have to either.

Elephants are highly intelligent and deeply protective, and mothers are especially cautious when facing potential danger. Before crossing, the female pauses to assess her surroundings, using her acute senses to detect distant vibrations and the sound of approaching trains. This CCTV footage is from São Paulo, Brazil in Dec 2023. The woman is Caroline Zanin, who was walking her two corgis. Rogério Cardoso Júnior was walking past when he started to kick the Dogs. While a judge initially absolved him, the court overturned it and convicted him of 2 years and 4 months in prison for animal abuse in March 2026. The woman is the sister of the Supreme Court Minister Cristiano Zanin!! Dogs are family and the Minister ensured justice was (eventually) served. ❤️

This is the Elephant habitat at Busch Gardens Tampa. A 2024 welfare complaint filed with USDA and AZA describes it as "surrounded on virtually all sides by roller coasters," with construction that made the ground of the barn shake. This is the story of Mr Stringer ❤️🩹. “When I brought Mr. Stringer home, he was completely paralysed. No one could tell me why he couldn't walk anymore. The X-rays showed nothing. Maybe someone kicked him. Maybe he fell. Maybe there was swelling around his spinal cord. The truth is, we'll never know. But from the very first day, he looked at me with that radiant smile, as if he wanted to say, "It doesn't matter, Sybille. It doesn't matter if I can walk or not. I'm happy." Mr. Stringer did it. With lots of training, patience, and physiotherapy, he learned to walk again. He will always have his little spinal gait, those wobbly steps with his hind legs. Some days are better than others. A hiker came around a blind corner on a trail at Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park Alaska and found herself face to face with Bear 909 - one of the most well known Alaskan Coastal Brown Bears in the park - along with her two cubs. Instead of panicking she stepped off the trail about 12 to 15 feet, stopped when the terrain ran out, stayed calm, used one voice, and let the bears pass. That is textbook Bear encounter protocol and she executed it perfectly under pressure that would have most people completely frozen. The Bears at Brooks are habituated to humans and have a high tolerance because of the salmon food source in the area but they are still wild animals that can turn defensive in a split second if they feel threatened. The number one rule - never run. Running triggers the predatory instinct and at that point the encounter changes completely.
