Apparently, they did add ease in/ease out to the trick animations in the final game... But for some reason, only Silver when he's in a car has it, everyone else I tested still has the stiff rotisserie chicken tricks

I was testing some stuff in Unlimited and out of nowhere I hit a sick trickshot

I saw someone say maining Jet is like using the symbiote suit, and that's actually so real. Not only did I snatch bro's first place while he was selecting the track, I also had no reason to not pick the same track, I like cyberspace, I picked random just to ragebait unprompted😭

This dude really saw Kraken Bay on the travel ring and said "no, I don't want to play the best crossworld in the game" then chooses random and takes us to fucking apotos

I really don't like the design approach they had with some of the gadgets in Crossworlds where they made certain mechanics awful on purpose just to justify the existence of a gadget that would have been useless otherwise, like, tricking without an air trick gadget feels horrible

This fuck ass stage keeps finding new ways of making me hate it

Haven't posted about Shadow in a while but today there's a really cool new development. I got to try out a new tool that's in the works that allows for editing of the vfx files, and I made new effects for the Chaos Snap with it. Huge thanks to angryzor for the tool

You can almost hear me laughing maniacally as soon as I crossed the portal with the truck in hand lol

In Sa2, you can hold the jump button on the wide springs to gain extra height, which allows you to do cool skips or access new routes, this differentiates them from the normal ones and makes them more than just 3 normal springs glued together, I wish they would bring this back

Now that my computer is fixed, I'm back to working on Frontiers Unlimited and wow, I forgot how satisfying the badnik bounce is to pull off. Gotta be one of my top 3 favorite features we added to the mod

They decompiled Sonic Project Hero 2019 and are putting in actual stages in the game, this is so cool

Sonic looks dozens of times cooler when he's doing the cool and fantastic stuff without lighting up like the world's fastest glowstick

Project Hero Rewired is so fun, truly one of the best Sonic movement systems ever and seeing it be put to use like this is amazing. Also, ignore the black waterfalls, my graphics card drivers are outdated af lol

Heroes has so much sauce in its final stages. This might be the Sonic level that best translates the tiered level design from some of the classic levels into 3d. And no Sonic twitter user, I didn'tplay this game 500 times, this is actually just my third playthrough since 2024

I love fighting the super bosses as Roxas in KH3. Even though his moveset is very limited because he was only meant to be playable during a small segment in the DLC, they still made my boy so fucking saucy

I was experimenting with a fusion between the homing attack and the badnik bounce, it's not completely hand holdy, you still gotta aim it right (there's even a part in the video where I missed lol). It's going to be an optional feature in Frontiers Unlimited

People are beating the dead horse saying that this is just Sonic Frontiers dialogue, but I'm gonna have to beat the pulverized horse because Sonic 06 (p06 I guess in this clip) has to be the absolute worst example of this kind of dialogue in the franchise

People saying Riders is just style with no substance as if the whole reason people keep praising it 19 years later isn't the huge depth of the gameplay with its high skill ceiling and complex mechanics. Riders shows its age but it still blends style and substance really well

This gotta be one of the best takes on the whole "flying over the stage" argument. That type of stuff absolutely has a place in Sonic games as a reward for high skill play and it does not in any way invalidate the level design

I believe what Kishimoto was referring to is not similar to what we saw in the updates and instead a more traditional spindash. Since launch there has been an unused spindash state in the game whereas the update 2 one is internally called spinboost 1/3
