Here's a thing he hasn't said overall F-16 variants like F-16 Block 70 is at par to J-10C or better in some domains. BTW, J-35 will arrive whenever it is necessary‼️ Harjeet is right somehow but I don't agree completely. It will come at the right time because even PAF leadership would be reading the room. Furthermore, from space to the beneath surfaces of the sea, Pakistan is moving forward with the help of its allies, steadily and with determination to achieve optimized Indigenization.

Pakistan should pitch JF-17B as what Turkey is doing with HURJET‼️ Turkish HURJET advanced trainer is competing for the tender issud by UK Royal Air Force. US T-7 Red Hawk and Turkish HURJET have locked their horns. I don't know why PAF isn't pushing JF-17B as low cost LIFT / Advanced Trainer, rather PAF pitches it as proper multirole fighter. Well, it'd have been more good for Pakistan's defence exports that we get orders of JF-17B as a advanced trainer and JF-17 Block 3 as a fighter.

Col Bashir is absolutely correct here, pointing out how our Air Force has been stretched to multiple fronts. Initially it was for our eastern flank, against India but now PAF got 2 more fronts: - Kamikaze drones threats from Afghanistan & TTP hideouts there - Increasing Israeli Air Force presence over Iran (as their jets conducted airstrikes merely 70km from Pakistani border) For the future, Pakistan must move towards swarm drones, Soft kill systems, more bases in Balochistan etc. Using jets frequently does have a cost and the good thing is Pakistan Air Force is moving towards the alternative mode of operations.

Putting aside all the sensationalism regarding J-35 coming to Pakistan but even China and Pakistan must be monitoring the tide of balance of power in South Asia. If J-35 is to come within days, India will be pushed to way more closer to USA, or even Russia, which nether China wants nor Pakistan.
