Sam Harris is upset that the majority of Joe Rogan’s audience believes 1) Covid was a “non-issue,” 2) it was “not much worst than the flu” 3) Covid deaths were substantially inflated - “lots of people died with Covid, not from Covid” 4) “many, many people died from the vaccine.” 1) What? Joe doesn’t even believe that. Otherwise why did he constantly tell people to stay healthy during Covid? 2) Fact-check: true for most healthy people, especially young. But for elderly people with comorbidities: a concerning issue. 3) Fact-check: true. Estimates ranging from 30-40% of incidental COVID cases in hospitalizations. Similar for deaths. Covid-logged deaths include homicide, suicide, and accidents! (which Sam mocks) 4) Vague, but did one too many healthy people who sought no benefit from the vaccine die from adverse effects? Yes. South Korea study found several cardiac-related deaths post-vaccine. Was it on the scale of millions? Who knows. Maybe. Some estimates suggest yes, others no. Does Sam Harris think critically before making such self-defeating claims about the pandemic? Sigh. He knows I’m happy to talk to him about this whenever he wants.

Last night, the hilarious roast of Kevin Hart definitively showed that WOKE IS DEAD. I was amazed how Tony Hinchcliffe, Shane Gillis & others pulled off several highly offensive jokes (like the one below) at such a Hollywood-centric event that would’ve been the target of cancellation campaigns for attacking “marginalized communities” 10 years ago. Race, gender, body size jokes were in abundance last night and even the ppl who were roasted on such grounds — like pop star Lizzo who was attacked for being fat as a body positivity advocate — were typically great sports about it and you could see them laughing uproariously rather than getting upset. The censorious far Left lost big time on this one. They scared people and destroyed careers a decade ago. Now Netflix openly welcomes and funds the most risqué, unhinged comedy. RIP WOKE.

For people raging over Megyn for clapping back in crude fashion, a quick search on X reveals (if it wasn’t obvious in your feeds already) how relentlessly Mark assails her with insult after insult, using terms like “diabolical” and “evil” and calling her anti-semitic and bigoted. He does this 24/7 and when Megyn rightly puts him in his place — a man whose a keyboard warrior typing invective all day, particularly at one woman, commenting on her age with insults like “grandma”, is really just a weak, pathetic cretin compensating for his ignoble, neutered fragility (an insult to men!) — everyone’s suddenly mad! He spends an obscene amount of time trashing one woman like an emotionally unregulated teenager. No honourable man of integrity does that. She just said it how we used to say it back in high school bc he doesn’t really deserve an elaborate, sophisticated refutation of his vile, feeble character but here u go to those foolishly cheering him on…

What did smoking addicts experience on psilocybin in a newly published study? Lead author Matthew W. Johnson explains: Addicts often had spiritual, visionary experiences or ones that evoked childhood wounds and suppressed emotional pain. In these expansive experiences, they often realized the absurdity of their addiction (“I’ve been masking all this pain with cigarettes?!?”). Trans activists demonize psychotherapeutic treatment of gender dysphoria as “conversion therapy.” There’s one major problem with that comparison: Conversion therapy has never shown to work (generally) while gender dysphoria is incredibly flexible condition that most kids outgrow by the time they end puberty. I asked Senator Ron Johnson about Joe Kent's concerns about Israeli influence in Trump's decision to wage war. His response: "You've seen those instances in the past where Israel's done something that has not been particularly helpful to our diplomatic aims. That may happen in the future, but again, I'm not going to denigrate Israel because we have some differences and they've done some things that may have harmed again our diplomatic efforts that might be somewhat contrary to theirs."
