URGENT: Two starving dogs missing after being reloaded into suspect's truck - someone knows something Jefferson County, Alabama – A witness says he caught a man attempting to abandon two severely emaciated dogs in the Mount Olive/Gardendale area. According to accounts shared on social media, the witness confronted the man, photographed him and his vehicle, and called law enforcement. The witness reportedly made the man reload the dogs into his truck before he drove away. As a result, the current whereabouts of the dogs are unknown. The photos and information were later shared by Clifford Higginbotham who posted them on Facebook to help identify the man. Higginbotham later clarified that neither he nor his daughter witnessed the incident firsthand; they were simply helping spread the information after it was sent to them by the witness. According to FOX 2 Detroit, 28-year-old Samantha Koss has been charged after video allegedly showed her smacking, kicking, and manhandling Frankie, a 6-year-old pit bull she had been paid to watch in Warren, Michigan.
