The same UCT council that wants to silence Mark Oppenheimer and David Ansara allows for the praising of Hamas and Hezbollah on campus. Dear UCT, please explain to me how this video alone doesn't prove an Islamist influence at UCT. How can you allow students to wave terrorist flags and praise them on your campus? You are attempting to silence the wrong people.

I don't think the Democratic Alliance realises what damage John Steenhuisen just did to their voter base with his News24 🇿🇦 Interview. First, let's define the term "AfriMaga", considering John, with the help of Ryan Coetzee, coined the term. In John's own words, "Afrimaga" are people who support the following organisations and who are conservative: - Afriforum (300,000 members) - Solidariteit (200,000 members) - Sakeliga (Represents 12,000 businesses) - SAAI (6000+ members) So, according to John, if you support any of the above-mentioned organisations OR are conservative (right-wing), then John believes you don't share the DA's values and principles, as you are "AfriMaga" supporters. He even goes further to say that some of you are "racists" and are the people who voted "NO" in the referendum. I can say comfortably that John just directly insulted more than two million people who have in the past voted for the DA and would have potentially voted for them again. He also says all of the above as the DA welcomes Cllrs from the ANC/EFF/MK into their party and deploys them as councillors. So communists and socialists are welcome in the DA, but not conservative people who support organisations like Afriforum and Solidariteit. Don't believe me that this is what he said? Dear Ruda Landman (Ruda Landman), In 2003, you narrated and produced a segment called Bloody Harvest for Carte Blanche. It focused on farm murders in South Africa. You interviewed Gregory Stanton, who heads Genocide Watch. Carte Blanche even flew to Berlin to interview him. He explained in detail what a genocide is and why it could be the case in South Africa. In 2003, he already stated that South Africa was at Stage 5 out of 8 on the Genocide Watch list. You, as Ruda Landman and as Carte Blanche, then laid out the case for him and showcased various farm murders in South Africa and how the aim was to torture, rape and not steal anything. May I ask, Ruda, since this interview, thousands more farmers have been brutally murdered with exactly the same modus operandi, and yet now you are the one saying that farm murders are just normal crime. I would like to know why you feel this way and why, with all the overwhelming evidence confirming what you illustrated in your segment over 23 years ago, you now feel differently and go so far as to call it "normal crime" WARNING: THE VIDEO IS VERY GRAPHIC, SHOWING VICTIMS OF FARM MURDERS.

If you want to see the sheer ignorance of voters and the hypocrisy of politics in South Africa then this video illustrates it. A hard-working dedicated mayor that tried his best to turn things around was removed because the ANC/EFF/ASA couldn't get their hands on the tenders.

This was aired in May 2023 by the BBC. Not only did John say on camera multiple times that the DA will not form a government with the ANC, but he also added that if it were the only option, he would consult DA voters. Last time I checked, not a single DA voter was ever consulted.
