During Tuesday’s House Foreign Affairs Committee Majority hearing, Nadine Maenza informed Congress that Turkey’s President Erdoğan is seeking to restore the Ottoman Empire all the way to Jerusalem and beyond. This is important because President Erdoğan is closely connected to Syria's current leader, al-Sharaa. The recent horrific treatment of religious minorities in Syria, including Christians, Druze, Alawites, and Kurds, makes this witness testimony critical. If Turkey continues cheering what is happening in Syria with the extermination of those not in line with an Islamic (Jihad-minded) state, we are looking at a powder keg waiting to explode. If this happens, Israel and the 750,000 U.S. citizens living within its midst will be the next target. The extermination of religious minorities in Syria must TRULY BE AT AN END, or Congress must act by reimposing sanctions!!!

Here’s my statement on why we cannot allow wind and solar tax credits, in current form, to continue in the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” As it is currently written, Green New Scam subsidy phaseouts are delayed until 2029—with some of these subsidies lasting until 2041! Further, the bill’s Medicaid work requirements don’t start until after President Trump’s term, when they should start now. I’m grateful to President Trump for leading the charge to end these Green New Scam giveaways that weaken our grid, benefit China, and displace American natural gas; and I’m thankful to Speaker Johnson, Leader Scalise, and Chairman Arrington for working with us to fix these issues. We are currently working through these problems to produce a “Big Beautiful Bill” we can be proud of, hopefully by Monday.

Europe has already succumbed to Islamic radicalization and America is increasingly following suit. Examples of the Islamification of the West include: ➡️ The United Arab Emirates no longer funding its students to study in the UK due to a fear of them being radicalized by the UK’s Muslim Brotherhood. ➡️ A British Detective Chief Inspector witnessing the abuse of a young girl in a car by a Muslim and subsequently being ordered by his supervisor to drop the matter to avoid antagonising the local Muslim community. ➡️ An Austrian court ruling that Sharia law can be used for arbitration in private contracts. ➡️ A US-based Muslim cleric teaching that “having sex with a nine-year-old girl…is not considered sexual harassment and is permissible in Islam.” ➡️ A Muslim imam in Texas being caught on video harassing local business owners for selling pork and other products considered forbidden, or “haram.” ➡️ In Dearborn, Michigan, the Muslim Mayor told a Christian minister he did not belong in their town after the Christian voiced opposition to renaming a street after Osama Siblani, an Islamic radical who called the Hamas terrorists organization “freedom fighters.” ➡️ Texas Governor Abbott condemning Texan courts that are “issuing orders that purportedly carry the authority to bind individuals to Islamic codes” rather than to American law.

What will happen if we don't do a full repeal of Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act through reconciliation? • We will cost taxpayers $1 trillion over the next decade. • The liquid gold under our feet—oil and gas—will be displaced by unreliable green energy. • We will outsource American jobs and economic growth to China. It’s time to let the free market, not federal handouts, decide our energy future.
