My new bill would make people like Ilhan Omar give up their dual citizenship if they want to serve in Congress. You’re either American or Somali. It’s just that simple. Jihadi Mamdani has no issue with 60 Muslim-run countries around the world. But the one Jewish state bothers him very much. His true colors continue to show. When I got to Congress, I was shocked to learn dual citizens — people who swear allegiance to another country — can still serve in the U.S. Congress. You CANNOT serve two masters. My bill makes it simple: Only Americans. Full allegiance to the United States and the United States alone. No more dual loyalty in Congress.

A few months ago, I was invited by a student group to speak at Catholic University about antisemitism. The university said no—you can only have him speak if you’re also willing to invite a Muslim terror advocate to speak as well. This didn’t just happen to me; it also happened to other Jewish speakers who were invited to their campus. Yet somehow, when it came to liberal causes, the “both sides” argument disappeared. Make no mistake: what happened was an infringement on the First Amendment and an attempt by a left-leaning campus to control the narrative. When my colleagues visited Israel last August, they saw Christian holy sites there and in Bethlehem. They told me that the birthplace of Jesus felt unrecognizable compared to the well-kept holy sites in Israel. Israel doesn’t care just about protecting the Jewish people; they care about protecting Christians too. Truth should matter to the groypers.

I agree with Donald J. Trump — Tucker Carlson is not MAGA. First, he demanded all Jews take a DNA test to prove they are Jewish. Then he said Muslim terrorists should be able to rape and kill Americans if they’re under 18 years old. Now, Tucker has threatened a group of Jews who are beloved by everyone in the Jewish community — Chabad.org, who bring light to the world. Who do more acts of kindness in a day than most of us will do in our lives. Tucker falsely claimed they seek the destruction of Muslim holy sites, putting their safety at risk. It is clear that Tucker is not only mentally sick but is a danger to the Jewish Community and America as a whole. It is not enough for us to call out evil among Democrats. We must do it on our own side as well. Tucker Carlson needs to be excommunicated from the Republican Party.

Our founders never anticipated foreigners being able to get elected to Congress. Yet we have dozens in Congress right now who are citizens of foreign countries. This cannot be allowed to continue. My bill would ensure that citizens of America are the only ones able to serve in Congress. You can have dual loyalty at HOME, but not in our government.

There are 30 members born in foreign countries — potentially dual citizens who’ve never renounced their original passports. Take Ilhan Omar — born in Somalia, openly puts Somalia’s interests first. That’s not loyalty to America. My bill is simple: To serve in Congress, you must be a citizen of the United States only — no foreign passports, no dual allegiances. No divided allegiances. No foreign loyalties.
