Cruelty is the point. I’ve been sounding the alarm for months about premium tax credits expiring and offering amendment after amendment to protect health care. This isn’t about partisan scoreboards. It’s life or death. While my colleagues scramble at the last minute with no plan, House Democrats have been fighting for months to lower costs and save health care.

I'm asking the questions we all want answers to. At 9:37 AM, Trump told his followers to buy stocks. The market was tanking. The Trade Rep was set to defend harmful tariffs.Mid-hearing Trump flips. No warning. Not even to his top trade official. This isn’t leadership. It’s chaos.

If they planned this from the beginning, like they now claim—that’s not leadership. That’s market manipulation. Think about it: telling your followers to buy low, flipping a major trade policy mid-hearing without telling your own team, then watching the market soar? That’s not a coincidence. That’s a coordinated move to profit off chaos. What else could it be?

.Speaker Mike Johnson: News from House Dems are here & ready to work. The American people can’t afford your obstruction. The GOP caused devastating healthcare cuts - you have a duty to undo them. Stop the games. Open the doors. Let us do our jobs.

My bipartisan FULL HOUSE Act has passed through committee, bringing us one step closer to restoring the full gambling loss deduction that I have been fighting for over the past year. This is a major step forward for Nevada, our gaming economy, and the workers and families who depend on it. People should not be taxed on money they never actually earned. I will keep fighting to get this through the House and signed into law.

What are they hiding? You don’t get to slam the door on a Member of Congress during a routine ICE visit. I’ve toured this facility before—so why am I suddenly a “security risk”? My team requested permission. They had no right to deny us. They’re clearly afraid of accountability.

Republicans slipped a last-minute provision into their so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that would force people to pay taxes on money they never actually earned by limiting the deduction for gambling losses. That’s unfair — and it’s bad for Nevada. Our gaming and tourism economy depends on a tax code that reflects real winnings, not phantom income. That’s why I am proud to introduce the bipartisan FULL HOUSE Act to restore the full deduction for wagering losses and fix this costly mistake. Nevada’s economy runs on fairness, transparency, and trust — and our tax code should too.

When I introduced the HOME Act, I said homes are for people, not corporations. Now, key parts of that work are moving forward in the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. This legislation cracks down on Wall Street landlords, gives renters a way to report problems, reinvests penalties back into affordable housing, and holds bad actors accountable. This will be a major step forward for Nevada families.

I’m voting NO on this Big Ugly Bill. It screws over Nevadans—17 million could lose Medicaid, 21,700 clean energy jobs wiped out, 46,000 in my district could lose SNAP, and so much more. Call every Republican. Tell them to vote NO. #killthebill

$250M for a new White House ballroom $40B to bail out Argentina $200M for private jets $4T in tax cuts for billionaires But when it comes to affordable health care for middle-class families? That’s where Republicans draw the line.

Last night I introduced an amendment to fund #ACA tax credits for 2 more years by redirecting the $40B bailout Trump sent to Argentina. This was a good deal to put America first, but Republicans pick and choose what counts as “America First,” preferring billions in foreign aid over affordable health care for millions.

Republicans can’t even defend their own actions—they’re too busy trying to justify the unjustifiable. I’ll always fight for what’s right. But how can we have real progress when the other side refuses to even start a conversation? Now’s the time to push back—with action

How many times will the GOP bail out billionaires while working Americans foot the bill? Tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. Special breaks for corporations. Market games that leave families behind. This isn’t help—it’s protecting power and profit.
