My Republican colleagues called a hearing on threats to the Supreme Court’s legitimacy, so I decided to read just a few examples of the $2.4 million in gifts Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted from his ultra wealthy allies:

A lot of folks were outraged when the FBI got a warrant to search Mar-a-Lago for classified documents that Trump stole. Yet those same people are quiet when ICE is breaking down Americans’ doors without any warrant and trampling on the 4th Amendment. Why is that?

It would cost $38 billion to extend ACA credits next year and prevent millions of people from losing their healthcare. Reminder: Trump sent $40 billion to Argentina for no reason.

I just reviewed some of the unredacted Epstein files at the Department of Justice. Trump and many powerful people are often mentioned, but there’s also MILLIONS of files the DOJ continues to withhold in violation of the law. This coverup needs to end.

It’s heartbreaking to see little kids appearing all alone in immigration court, without a lawyer. This week, I led 15 of my colleagues to introduce the Fair Day in Court for Kids Act, to ensure that unaccompanied minors get legal representation during immigration proceedings.

House Republicans canceled votes tomorrow and are going on vacation without extending ACA tax credits, despite a majority of the House supporting this. What an outrage.

Day 29 of this shutdown: Health premiums are soaring. People are missing paychecks. And no House Republicans to be found in DC.

What I saw today was a composed Jack Smith explaining his logical, evidence-based decisions to prosecute Trump for his election subversion attempts. House Republicans’ smears fell flat.

House Republicans have voted to create a new January 6th subcommittee, seemingly so they can gaslight America and make excuses for Trump and the insurrection he incited. I served on the original J6 Committee, and I won’t let anybody distort the facts of that terrible day.

My immigration registry bill (H.R. 4696) is a commonsense fix to our outdated immigration system, a reform that President Reagan himself pushed nearly 40 years ago. We need to provide stability to those who have peacefully lived for years in the U.S.

The Supreme Court’s decision to allow masked, armed agents to detain people based on ethnicity endangers Hispanic communities. But when probable cause is set aside, nobody is safe from being disappeared. There will be more litigation, and we won’t let this be the final word.

FBI Director Kash Patel is using taxpayer funds to fly around on a $62 million jet to his girlfriend’s concerts…all while Americans struggle to pay for healthcare, rent, and groceries.

I’m in DC, but no sign of my Republican colleagues. Democrats are here ready to pass a budget and avoid a shutdown tonight, but Republicans won’t come to the table. Some folks in my district will see their healthcare premiums go up by over 1,000% if Republicans get their way.

Special Counsel Jack Smith offered to testify publicly about his investigations into Trump’s wrongdoing, but Republicans insist on keeping his testimony behind closed doors so they can cherry pick and distort his statements. I’m attending his deposition today to get the truth.

I’m a hard no on today’s House vote to continue the Republican healthcare crisis.

The FBI thinks that diverting agents to remove Trump’s name from the Epstein files is a high priority, but Director Patel can’t even answer a basic question: how many times is the President’s name mentioned?

The Trump administration thinks propaganda will cover up the economic and health crises they’ve created. The people losing their jobs, their businesses, and their insurance aren’t buying it.

I represent a heavily agricultural district, and let me tell you now that Trump’s attacks on farmworkers are a slow-moving catastrophe that will cause food shortages and drive up every American’s grocery costs even more.
