I just left a classified briefing about the Iran War. Here is what I can share.

Secretary Noem tried to tell me that she hasn’t deported any veterans. I introduced her to one.

My floor speech on the latest ICE killings. We are not going to be silent. We are not going to forget. Until there is justice.

Musk & Trump tried to force a bill that would have cut funding for seniors, healthcare, & kids w/ cancer yet somehow still increase the debt by $5 trillion. It was so bad that 38 Republicans voted against it. Can we please just pass a real bipartisan bill to keep the gvmt open?

Part 3: My final message to Secretary Noem: Stop playing dress up for the cameras and start following the law.

I just left a classified briefing with Rubio and Hegseth. The Trump Administration has no plan for Venezuela, beyond putting US troops in harmed way to make oil execs richer.

Great news! Jim Brown’s wife Donna has been released & the deportation case against her has been dropped. A happy ending to one of many tragic stories of innocent people whose lives have been ruined by the Administration's reckless and cruel immigration enforcement practices.

Safe to say @JimmyKimmel, this hearing did not go the way Secretary Noem had planned. Easy fix for next time: stop deporting veterans.

With today’s absurd order stopping offshore wind projects, Trump is once again putting culture wars ahead of lowering costs for Americans.

If a regular police officer anywhere in the country sprayed tear gas into a moving car with a 1-year-old, they’d be fired. But in Trump’s Dept. of Homeland Security, there are no guardrails and no accountability. Instead of enforcing the law, they’re making Americans less safe.

The President is giving his State of the Union address tonight, but I am most needed here in Rhode Island, helping to dig out our neighbors from the record snowfall. Stay off the road today, Rhode Island, and check in on your neighbors.

Renee Good is dead, not just because of the actions of an agent on the scene, but because of the policies coming from the White House. Here are some examples.

Some good news: We just got word that Narciso Barranco, the father of three Marines who was violently tackled and detained by ICE last spring, has had his case dismissed.

Congress is about to vote on a Homeland Security funding bill. Here is why I am voting no.

I can’t believe I have to explain to the Secretary of the Interior how batteries work. But here we are.

Rhode Island is pretty freaking awesome.

North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum used to brag about expanding wind energy in his state. Now in Trump’s cabinet, he is blocking wind energy that would lower people’s electric bills. I asked him for an explanation.

A judge just cleared the way for the Revolution Wind project to move forward - a win for good-paying jobs & lower utility bills. Trump tried to kill this project twice. He failed twice. Now it’s time for Rev Wind to go live and deliver affordable, clean energy for RIers.
