🧵 Since our sanctuary opened in 1998, it has provided a safe haven for hundreds of at-risk #wildhorses and burros, including the nearly 500 now in our care. We’ve also played a role in saving another 2,500 animals from starvation, neglect and the foreign slaughter pipeline.
