Wildly impressive performance on the road tonight from Baylor in interim head coach Joe Klanderman’s first game. His defense was spectacular against UCF holding the Knights to under 300 yards and racking up 12 TFLs + 7 sacks. Klanderman began his coaching career at Minnesota State, won four FCS championships at North Dakota State as DB coach, and had been Kansas State’s DC for year before coming to Baylor. Heck of a coach

Florida State has one of the most talented running backs in the country in Ousmane Kromah. Unbelievable run here. Last year, as a true freshman, Kromah averaged 4.1 yards per carry after contact.

UW-River Falls winning the Stagg Bowl is one of the most improbable turnarounds in recent college football memory. The Falcons hadn’t even made the D3 playoffs since 1996. Now, head coach Matt Walker brings a national championship to River Falls for the first time ever.

Can’t believe Cyrus Allen fell to the 5th round … one of the best picks of Day 3. Has had rave reviews out of Chiefs camp and has showcased why today. Allen’s route running and ball skills (just 1 drop at Cincinnati last season) are impressive. Was the best WR at Senior Bowl

UAB’s Marlin Dean might be the most underrated pass rusher in college football. He’s on the NFL radar with his twitch and length. Came into tonight with 19 pressures, 5 sacks, and an 18.6% pass rush win rate.

Adding DJ McKinney in the portal is already paying off for Notre Dame. He’s made a few splashy plays tonight, but none bigger than this pick six. Has had some really bright moments in his collegiate career at Oklahoma State and Colorado. Potential Top 100 pick.

UDFA rookie Jack Strand is making the most of his opportunity with the Falcons. He’s shown off the athleticism + arm talent today, especially on this throw. A D2 All-American at Minnesota State-Moorhead, Strand threw for over 13,000 yards with 126 TD passes for the Dragons

This is getting ridiculous, USC’s Jide Abasiri just forced his second safety of the game. His athleticism is a complete mismatch inside. If Abasiri plays like he has in Week 0 and Week 1 all season, he’s going to be one of the biggest risers in the 2027 NFL Draft.

UCF's upset win over No. 2 BYU had one of the craziest endings in recent memory: - UCF sets up for a game-winning field goal with 10 seconds left in regulation - Clock resets to 15 seconds, so UCF spikes the ball, then throws a pass away - UCF once again sets up for a game-winning field goal with 11 seconds left (now third down), and it's blocked - UCF kicker Will Stone recovers his own blocked kick, theoretically giving UCF a chance at another kick on fourth down - But Stone's helmet comes off because of a facemask, but refs pick up the flag, and since his helmet came off, it leads to a 10-second runoff forcing OT - The ending of regulation was reviewed, with both coaches freaking out for a really long time, before determining they're going to OT - Both teams score TDs quickly in OT1 - UCF opens OT2 with a drive that stalls, so it kicks a field goal to go up 34-31 - BUT BYU roughs UCF's kicker in double OT to give UCF a first down, leading to a TD + they get the 2-point conversion - On fourth and goal in double OT, UCF gets the stop, and the field at the Bounce House is stormed (the goalposts go down) - UCF head coach Scott Frost says, "That's the weirdest end to a game I've ever seen" - In the end, UCF backup QB Keyone Jenkins takes down the No. 2 team in the country I'm pretty sure I got that all right, but this game was completely bonkers, so I can't be sure

The Bears have found something in rookie Jordan van den Berg. The sixth-round pick out of Georgia Tech has been disruptive in the preseason. The South African is a freak athletically and you can see it translate to the field. Clocked a 1.61 10-yard split, 36” vert, 9’11” broad

Nothing is more college football than the sequence we just had in Colorado vs. Georgia Tech: - GT fumbles on jet sweep to give Colorado the ball - Colorado later appears to fumble and GT returns it for a TD - But there’s a whistle and with no explanation the refs spot the ball for Colorado’s next down while GT runs out its PAT team out - There’s smoke all over the field for Colorado’s next play from GT celebrating what it thought was a TD - Colorado has a snap go over JuJu Lewis’ head and loses yards - Colorado ends up going for it on 4th down and is stopped on the goal line - GT goes three and out and the quarter ends
