You are seeing more and more tourist attractions in China featuring humanoids as part of their shows. IMO, humanoids are going to bring a lot of value to the tourism and entertainment industry in the short term.

I know six-armed humanoids could be very efficient, but it’s still wild to see one actually built by Midea. That said, I still believe major home appliance companies will do well in the wheeled humanoid competition.

The trend in China is that more robotics companies are opening stores where anyone can see and interact with the robots. It’s no longer necessary for everyone to contact a salesperson or visit the company’s office. BTW, I like the store designs of both EngineAI and AgiBot!

A camouflaged test humanoid spotted on the street in Shenzhen？This might be the first time camouflage has been applied to a humanoid.

This adorable cleaning robot from Cowa Robot is my favorite at the competition.

It's not just the humanoids. Robot dogs with robotic arms can actually do plenty of practical work, including inspections in power plants.

Many robotics companies should be thanking Unitree. They've set a very high bar and definitely accelerated the entire robotics field globally. Just like Apple did for smartphones and Tesla for EVs.

2026 is also going to be the year of data collection for robotics.

Soon, humanoids will serve more humans than humans serve each other, particularly in retail. Are you ready for that?

Checked out the Sanitation Robot Competition in Shenzhen last week. It was amazing to see so many types of cleaning robots for streets and roads, a perfect use case for service robots.

After seeing this video, no one would doubt what I said before. Shenzhen is becoming the world center of robotics.

Humanoids will do the testing and assembly, and eventually robots will make and manufacture themselves. Maybe in 10 years?

Obviously, the humanoids practiced a lot with human dancers before going on stage.

I hope everyone who cares about humanoid robotics takes the time to watch this video. There is clearly no CG or AI, this is real and made possible by the hard work of over 150 engineers at EngineAI in Shenzhen. I’m truly impressed by what they’ve achieved.

It’s also pretty impressive to watch from this angle. I guess Leehom almost treated the humanoid robots as if they were real, like human dancers.

Humanoid elderly care is still in a very early stage. This video from ROBOTGYM shows what could be possible. A robot could offer companionship, prepare meals and medicine, fold bedsheets, provide entertainment, monitor health and call for help in an emergency.

XPeng’s founder, Xiaopeng, said he is certain that their robots will sell more than 1 million units and surpass EV sales within the next 10 years.

In 5-10 years, every office is going to need a few humanoids. They will grab water, organize deliveries, clean the office, and basically work as your office assistant or secretary.

I know it’s humanoids dancing again, but it still looks crazy. Anyway, nice to see the exposed structure and components.
