Omani co-pilot stabbed Indian captain Smit Machchhar mid-air and tried to crash the Dubai–Tel Aviv Flydubai flight 1. FlyDubai flight (FZ1073) was traveling from Dubai to Tel Aviv on September 30th with more than 170 Israeli passengers aboard. 2. During the flight, the co-pilot stabbed the captain and then attempted to crash the plane. 3. The aircraft entered a tailspin and began rapidly descending. 4. Flightradar24 data showed the aircraft descended nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds before an emergency signal was transmitted. 5. Passengers reportedly heard screaming and realized something was seriously wrong. 6.
