It must be made clear that ZANU-PF is not afraid of a referendum. The fact of the matter is that the law does'nt provid for a referendum on the proposed amendments. Furthermore, Parliament, as the representative of the people, has authority to act on their behalf accordingly.

My experience working with ZANU-PF is that when they want something done, I mean anything, no one can stop them. They have the intellectual capacity and all the resources required to achieve their objectives. Therefore anyone who thinks that 2030 will fail is simply daydreaming.
