“Do not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.” In today's chapel, Dr. Jarvis J. Williams, Professor of New Testament Interpretation, preached from Romans 1:16–17 and reminded us that the gospel alone brings life to dead sinners. It is not a message to soften or hide, but the very means by which God saves all who believe through Jesus Christ. Let us hold fast to this message and proclaim it with clarity, knowing it is the only hope for a lost world.
