Wow! The Chief Minister of Balochistan is busy hosting an X Space to attack the BYC and Dr. Mahrang Baloch. The Space displays more than 7,000 listeners, yet the host’s promotional posts for the session rarely attract even 1,000 views. Such a glaring mismatch naturally invites questions: Who are these thousands of listeners, and how credible are these numbers? If public resources are being spent to manufacture narratives and project an image of mass support rather than addressing the real crises confronting Balochistan, then taxpayers deserve answers. The people need governance, accountability, and solutions, not political theatre designed to create the illusion of popularity.

Syed Bibi Baloch, a member of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, was summoned once again to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) office in Turbat this morning, only hours after being released the previous night. Upon her arrival, she was arrested and transferred to Central Jail under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (3 MPO) for one month. For the past eight months, Syed Bibi has faced continuous harassment by state authorities. After being placed on the Fourth Schedule, she was required to report to the CTD office every week while her phone and communications remained under constant surveillance. A widow living in Turbat with her two young children, Syed Bibi supported her family through traditional embroidery after her husband’s death. Since being placed on the Fourth Schedule, however, she has endured sustained psychological pressure and intimidation. Her bank accounts were frozen, her embroidery business collapsed, and obstacles were created even in relation to her children’s education, making it nearly impossible to live a normal life because of her dissenting views. Four days ago, following the Baloch Yakjehti Committee’s announcement of a rally in Turbat, the pressure against her intensified. Throughout the day, she received repeated calls and threats from CTD officials. Later that night, at around 9:30 p.m., security personnel raided her home, arrested her, and took her to the Women’s Police Station, where she was told she would be released after the rally concluded. She was released at approximately 10:00 p.m. the following night. Just thirty minutes later, she received another call stating that Military Intelligence (MI) personnel wanted to question her. She replied that she could not appear in the middle of the night and would present herself the next morning. Despite this, police raided her home three times during the night, breaking down the door, damaging household belongings, and searching the premises. Officers also raided her mother’s home, harassed family members, attempted to forcibly take away her bedridden brother, photographed the interior of the house, and caused further damage to property. Fearing for their safety, Syed Bibi spent the night with her two children in a graveyard beside her late husband’s grave. The next morning, she spoke to the media at the Turbat Press Club and publicly described the events. While there, she received another call instructing her to report to the CTD office. When she complied, she was arrested again and detained for one month under the 3 MPO. The treatment of Syed Bibi Baloch raises serious concerns about human rights, civil liberties, due process, and the rule of law. Silence in the face of such allegations risks creating an environment in which further abuses may occur. We respectfully call upon the international community—including the United Nations, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), relevant UN Special Rapporteurs, international human rights organizations, democratic governments, civil society organizations, and independent media—to closely monitor the situation, raise these concerns with the relevant authorities, and advocate for the protection of fundamental rights, including freedom of expression, peaceful assembly, and due process. We also urge national and international institutions committed to justice and human rights to help ensure accountability and the protection of individuals facing alleged harassment or arbitrary detention. At the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, I spoke on the grave human rights situation in Balochistan. The ongoing pattern of enforced disappearances was raised, where individuals are taken without due process and families remain without answers. Cases of extrajudicial killings and body dumping were highlighted as serious violations that continue in the absence of accountability. The shrinking civic space was also addressed. Journalists, students, lawyers, and human rights defenders continue to face harassment, arbitrary detention, and legal action under counterterrorism laws. The continued detention of activists, Several BYC Leaders including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, reflects the broader effort to silence peaceful voices seeking justice. A call was made for an independent and impartial assessment by the United Nations into the human rights situation in Balochistan. Sindh Police detained Fozia Baloch and her family outside the Karachi Press Club as she attempted to hold a press conference on the enforced disappearance of her brother, Daad Shah Baloch. He has been forcibly disappeared for the second time, and his whereabouts remain unknown. Instead of providing answers, authorities blocked her right to speak and denied the family access to legal recourse. The shrinking of civic space and the silencing of those who dare to speak is alarming. Peaceful expression is being restricted, and families seeking truth are treated as offenders. Such actions reflect a deliberate effort to suppress voices that demand accountability for enforced disappearances. This approach blocks lawful and peaceful paths for justice. It raises a clear question about who stands against transparency, rights, and the rule of law. گزشتہ شب کوئٹہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے خضدار کے رہائشی عقیل بلوچ کو ان کے گھر سے خفیہ ایجنسیوں کے اہلکاروں نے، سی ٹی ڈی کی موجودگی میں، زبردستی حراست میں لے کر جبری طور پر لاپتہ کردیا۔ سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج میں اس واقعے کو باآسانی دیکھا جاسکتا ہے، مگر اس کے باوجود حکومتی نمائندے مسلسل جھوٹ بولتے ہیں کہ ملک میں کوئی جبری گمشدگیاں نہیں ہو رہیں، اور متاثرین ازخود ایران یا افغانستان چلے جاتے ہیں۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ اگر ایسا ہے تو اس ویڈیو میں کیا دکھایا گیا ہے؟ اور عقیل بلوچ کہاں ہیں؟ عقیل کے پیچھے بھاگتی خواتین جب صبح احتجاج کے لیے سڑک پر نکلیں تو پولیس نے ان پر تشدد کیا اور زبردستی احتجاج ختم کرایا۔ فیملی جب ایف آئی آر درج کرانے پولیس اسٹیشن پہنچی تو وہاں بھی مقدمہ درج کرنے سے انکار کر دیا گیا۔ انصاف کی یہی بندش جب متاثرہ خاندانوں کو اسلام آباد اور دیگر بڑے شہروں تک لے جاتی ہے، تو وہاں انہیں کہا جاتا ہے کہ ان کے “سیاسی مقاصد” ہیں۔ سوال یہ ہے: کیا زندگی مانگنا کوئی سیاسی مقصد ہے؟ کیا سانس لینے کی اجازت طلب کرنا غداری یا ایجنسیوں کے خلاف سازش ہے؟ ہم سب کی ذمہ داری ہے کہ اس ویڈیو کو زیادہ سے زیادہ پھیلائیں اور بار بار سوال اٹھائیں: عقیل بلوچ کہاں ہیں؟ جبری گمشدہ افراد کہاں ہیں؟ اور کس نے ریاست کو یہ اختیار دیا ہے کہ وہ شہریوں کو ان کے گھروں سے اٹھا کر لاپتہ کرے؟ #EndEnforcedDisappearences #ReleaseAqeelBaloch

شعور کوئی مادہ نہیں جسے قید کیا جا سکے، نہ ہی یہ کوئی خیال ہے جو جذبات کی نذر ہو جائے۔ شعور ایک طاقت ہے، یہ وہ سرچشمہ جو ظلم کو چیلنج کرتا ہے اور ناانصافی کے ایوانوں کو ہلا کر رکھ دیتا ہے۔ یہ صرف ایک انفرادی احساس نہیں بلکہ ایک اجتماعی آگاہی ہے، ایک ایسی جدوجہد جو قوموں کی تقدیر بدل دیتی ہے۔ آج بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی (BYC) اسی شعور کا استعارہ بن چکی ہے ۔ایک ایسی امید کی کرن جو ہر بلوچ کے دل میں روشن ہے۔ بی وائی سی کی قیادت کو خاموش کرنے کی کوششیں، جو ریاست کی جانب سے کی جا رہی ہیں، ایک دن خود ریاستی اداروں کے لیے پچھتاوے کا باعث بنیں گی۔ کیونکہ وہ ماہرنگ شاہ جی، بیبرگ، بیبو، گلزادی اور دیگر قائدین کو محض افراد سمجھ کر قید کر رہے ہیں، جبکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ اب ایک نظریہ بن چکے ہیں ، وہ خود تحریک کی صورت اختیار کرچکے ہیں بلوچستان آج بول رہا ہے۔ ظلم کے خلاف ہر بلوچ، چاہے وہ عمر رسیدہ ہو یا نوجوان، اپنی آواز بلند کر چکا ہے۔ وہ لوگ جن کے گھرانے اس جبر کا براہ راست شکار نہ تھے، صرف بی وائی سی کی قیادت کو سڑکوں پر دیکھ کر متحرک ہوئے، آج وہ خود اس حقیقت سے آشنا ہو چکے ہیں کہ سب سے بڑا قانون شکن خود ریاست ہے۔ جو کچھ عوام کے ساتھ ہو رہا ہے، وہ محض سیکیورٹی کے نام پر نہیں، بلکہ ایک منظم دہشتگردی ہے ۔ ایک خوف پھیلانے کی کوشش۔ بلوچستان نہ کبھی خاموش تھا، نہ کبھی ہوگا۔ ہر نئے جبر کے ساتھ ہمارے حوصلے مزید بلند ہوں گے، ہمارے اعصاب مزید مضبوط ہوں گے، اور ہم اپنی جدوجہد کو نئے زاویوں سے جاری رکھیں گے۔ #NoToPakistanTyranny

آج ڈاکٹر دین محمد بلوچ کی جبری گمشدگی کو سولہ سال مکمل ہو چکے ہیں۔ ڈاکٹر دین محمد بلوچ ایک معالج، ایک باشعور انسان، اور ایک متحرک بلوچ سیاسی رہنما ہے۔ ان کی جبری گمشدگی کے خلاف ان کی بیٹی، سمی دین، گزشتہ سولہ برسوں سے مسلسل جدوجہد کر رہی ہیں۔ میرے نزدیک ان سولہ برسوں میں صرف ڈاکٹر دین محمد ہی لاپتہ نہیں رہے، بلکہ انصاف بھی لاپتہ رہا۔ یہاں عدلیہ خاموش رہی، سچ کی آواز دبا دی گئی، حق چھین لیا گیا، اور انصاف کے تمام تقاضے مسلسل پامال ہوتے رہے۔ آپ سمی دین کو محض ایک فرد یا ایک بیٹی سمجھتے ہوں گے، لیکن میرے نزدیک ان کی جدوجہد پورے ریاستی نظام پر ایک بہت بڑا سوالیہ نشان ہے۔ سوال یہ ہے کہ: کیا سمی دین نے ان سولہ سالوں میں پاکستان کے کسی ادارے سے انصاف نہیں مانگا؟ انہوں نے ہر دروازہ کھٹکھٹایا، عدالتوں سے لے کر تحقیقاتی کمیشنز، پارلیمانی کمیٹیوں سے لے کر دیگر تمام اداروں تک لیکن ہر جگہ سے صرف جھوٹ، تاخیر اور مایوسی ملی۔ ان سولہ برسوں میں جتنی حکومتیں آئیں، وہ سب انصاف مہیا کرنے میں ناکام رہیں۔ جتنی عدالتیں اور جتنے بینچ بنے، سب نے ان کی فریاد کو نظرانداز کیا۔ سمی کی جدوجہد صرف انفرادی نہیں، بلکہ ایک اجتماعی علامت ہے—ہر اس بلوچ خاتون کی کہانی جو انصاف کی تلاش میں ریاستی در و دیوار سے ٹکرا رہی ہے۔ یہ کہانی ہم سب کی کہانی ہے، اور یہ درد ہم سب کا مشترکہ درد ہے۔ ذرا ان بلوچ بیٹیوں کے بارے میں سوچیے جو بولنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتیں، جن کے پاس کوئی سہارا نہیں، جو آگے بڑھنے سے قاصر ہیں۔ سمی کی جدوجہد نے ان تمام خاموش کہانیوں کو منظرِ عام پر لا کھڑا کیا ہے۔ اور اس دوران خود سمی کو بارہا ہراساں کیا گیا، گرفتار کیا گیا، جیلوں میں ڈالا گیا، اور بدترین تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا گیا۔ لیکن میں سمجھتی ہوں وہ سمی نہیں تھی جو تشدد کا نشانہ بنی، وہ سچ اور حق کا بیانیہ تھا جسے توڑنے کی ہر کوشش کی گئی۔ آج جب ہم جبری گمشدگیوں کے خلاف آواز بلند کر رہے ہیں، تو ہمارے ساتھیوں ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ، شاہ جی بلوچ، بیبرگ بلوچ، بیبو بلوچ ،گلزادی بلوچ اور دیگر ساتھیوں کو جیل کیا گیا ہے، انہیں دھمکایا جارہا ہے ڈرایا جارہا ہیں، میں بھی آج لواحقین کے ساتھ کھڑی ہوں تو میرے والد کو بھی جبری طور پر لاپتہ کیا گیا تاکہ ہم خاموش رہے تاکہ اس مسئلے سے توجہ ہٹائی جاسکے۔ ہم آپ سے اپیل کرتے ہیں کہ اس جدوجہد میں تمام متاثرین کا ساتھ دیں، کیونکہ یہ صرف سمی دین کی لڑائی نہیں، یہ ہم سب کی لڑائی ہے۔ ہم مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ: •ڈاکٹر دین محمد بلوچ سمیت تمام لاپتہ افراد کو فوری طور پر بازیاب کیا جائے •بلوچ یکجہتی کمیٹی کے گرفتار رہنماؤں کو رہا کیا جائے •اور میرے والد کو فی الفور بازیاب کیا جائے #ReleaseDrDeenMohammad

I would like to bring to your attention the continued human rights abuses being carried out by state forces in Balochistan. In March, I submitted a video statement for the 58th Session of the Human Rights Council, which is now available on UN Web TV: Despite international attention, including statements by UN Special Rapporteurs, the Pakistani state continues its campaign of oppression against the Baloch people. Our peaceful struggle for justice and human rights has been met with increased brutality. Today, more than 200 of our fellow activists, including prominent leaders such as Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Shahji Baloch, and Beebarg Baloch, are being held in illegal detention. We urge all international human rights organizations and the global community to continue raising their voices against these grave injustices. The lives of human rights defenders in Balochistan are at severe risk. Your solidarity and advocacy are vital in the struggle to uphold human dignity and justice for the Baloch people. I don’t know if it’s courage, a desperate hope, a fight for justice, or simply the struggle to survive, but what I do know is that it’s painful. Painful even to witness. Watching your own people like this,broken, silenced, grieving, shakes something deep inside you. It compels you to speak out, to risk your career, and to stand up for justice when silence is no longer an option. Baloch mothers and sisters carry the weight of generational grief. And it is the state that has burdened them with this pain. The families protesting in Islamabad are being punished not for any crime, but for refusing to give up. For still daring to hope. Their lives have been shattered. Justice denied in courtrooms. Dreams torn apart. Every breath is a battle for dignity. The few who dared to speak for them have been thrown behind bars. Their families are being targeted. Harassment and intimidation are at their peak. Yet they still came to Islamabad….to protest, to resist, to be seen. And what did they face? Threats. Silence. Erasure. They were not even allowed to set up camp under the punishing rain and scorching heat. The press club was fenced off to block their voices. They were evicted from their rented flats in the middle of the night. This is our history , a history of pain, of struggle, and of an unyielding hope for life. And it is also the history of Islamabad: denial, repression, torture, and the systematic refusal of justice. Yes, we carry our pain with pride.
