EXC: Chancellor John Healey’s start of term interview. He tells me: - Burnham is running a “continuity” government. This is “continuity of a Labour government with a change of leader” - Asked about funding Burnham’s big vision outlined when he ran for leader Healey said it’s “not easy” to spend more and responds to q about major spending challenges by referring to “longer term” vision - Says “fiscal discipline” is his first priority — and denies he’s had a change in top priority after resigning as defence secretary in June because government wouldn’t put a date on 3% defence spending. Asked if that’s “a shift” he says “no”. - Says he moved into No11 Downing Street last week, has put up his dart board already but doesn’t have enough furniture because it’s so big — and says his wife is “worried about him living above the shop” Do watch: Produced by emily kinder Jack Parker Camera: Dean Massey

EXCLUSIVE Rachel Reeves has told me she is looking at both tax rises and spending cuts in the Budget -- in her first interview since being briefed on the scale of the black hole by the OBR. The Chancellor told Sky News that “of course, we're looking at tax and spending as well” when asked how she would deal with challenges in the November 26 Budget. She was speaking to me as part of Sky's year long series on blockages to growth. Do watch this masterful film by Joe Cook Tom Sue Yek - for the body language and insights as well as her words. Reeves also appeared to concede the existence of a tax doom loop by saying she wants to break out of it. Asked if she could promise she won't allow the UK economy to get stuck in a doom loop cycle, she replied: “Nobody wants that cycle to end more than I do, Sam.” She said that’s why she was trying to grow the economy, and only when I pushed her a third time did she suggest she “would not use those (doom loop) words” because the UK has the strongest growing economy in the G7. EXCLUSIVE I'm "ashamed" of Sir Keir Starmer, says rebel Labour MP - as the row over justice reforms escalates. Karl Turner tells me "I'm not going to be bullied" and attacks "pal" Starmer and called the justice secretary "lazy" as we visit one of London's busiest courts. This is the most cross I've ever seen a mainstream Labour MP against Starmer. But ministers are doubling down, not backing down, vowing to strip the right to a jury from those already facing trial to cut the backlog. We saw broken justice at Snarkesbrook Crown Court, talked to the government, rebels, judges and lawyers. Watch our deep dive Film by Joe Cook
