On this day 250 years ago, New Hampshire became the first state to adopt its Constitution. We have always been the leader when it comes to liberty. 206 years later, in 1982, a supermajority of Granite Staters approved article 2-a of the Constitution. It reads that “all persons have the right to keep and bear arms in defense of themselves, their families, their property, and the state.” Right now, UNH and other public universities are infringing on the self defense rights of law abiding college students.

The woke Durham town council is trying to pass a resolution against Campus Carry. I’d like to address some of the misinformation being circulated by the gun grabbers/university lobbyists ❌ HB1793 does not encourage or mandate guns on campus. It simply allows students, faculty, and visitors to carry if they decide to. ❌ Campus Police are able to apprehend any bad guy. This clearly did not work at Brown. Sometimes seconds matter. ❌ College kids are nothing but drunks who can’t be trusted. Every student should find this offensive. Should we ban cars become some decide to drive drunk?
