RAILA ON THE COST OF LIVING In 2011 (As the PM of Kenya): We won't lower the price of Unga and fuel by going to the streets. Instead, we should find a longterm solution to the high cost of products. In 2016 (As Opposition Leader): Uhuru has raised the cost of living to unbearable levels. We must all get out and protest mpaka "atusikize". Uhuru MUST listen to "Kenyans". In 2022 (As Uhuru's Chief Advisor): The high cost of living has been occasioned by factors outside Kenya's control. It's an international problem that will resolve slowly. During the handsek government, Kenyans asked the leadership to do something about the high cost of living...
