In 2011,when I had just joined Makerere university a strike shut everything down indefinitely.I went back to Luweero,Luwuube–Nswatta,to my grandparents and started farming,I planted coffee and bananas. Two weeks later, university reopened and I returned to class… but something had already been planted in me too.Years later, in 2019, I went back to farming and I haven’t stopped since. Maybe farming isn’t just something I do… maybe it’s my true calling.🤷♀️
