Today, thousands of ordinary Britons, the vast majority women, came to peacefully demonstrate against Tommy Robinson’s far right activists. I was proud to join them. Unsurprisingly, by the end of the day, Robinson’s goons were assaulting police officers to attack us. They failed.

Today, 83 year-old Reverend Sue Parfitt from Bristol, was detained for holding a placard that read: “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.” She was among dozens arrested for acts of defiance against the proscription of the direct action group by the UK Government.
