FleetLab 1.0 is LIVE. Join us for the first-ever Saronic hackathon — where your code will run real autonomous boats. We are building autonomous surface vessels from the ground up — designing hardware, software, and autonomy systems in-house and deploying them at scale. FleetLab 1.0 puts you in the middle of our work, challenging you to solve the same autonomy problems our team faces in the real world. Winning teams will watch their code deploy live on Saronic’s autonomous test vessels. Participants will choose one of three tracks: 📍 Track 1: UI: Visualizing Autonomous Decisions How should operators understand what an autonomous system is thinking? Last week, our first Marauder hit the water. This milestone represents more than a successful launch. It's a reflection of the tireless work of our dedicated engineers, shipbuilders, welders, and teammates across Saronic. It's a demonstration of our ability to deliver autonomous maritime capability at speed and scale through a modern production approach and relentless focus on the mission. And it's just the first of many more milestones to come.

This is what building at speed looks like. We recently announced a $300M investment to expand our shipyard in Franklin, Louisiana. We broke ground immediately and are working around the clock to bring 300,000+ sq. ft. of new shipbuilding capacity online by the end of this year. What that means is that by January 1, 2027, this capacity goes live — driving a step-function increase in Marauder production from an already rapid baseline, while strengthening the U.S. maritime industrial base and accelerating delivery of next-generation autonomous vessels. And we’re just getting started.

This is what building at speed looks like. We recently announced a $300M investment to expand our shipyard in Franklin, Louisiana. In 2025, we logged more than 79,000 nautical miles and over 15,000 hours of total operations with Corsair, our 24-ft ASV. Much of this was done on our own dime, operating 6 days a week at our test sites on the West Coast, East Coast, Gulf Coast, and beyond, allowing us to validate and advance our autonomy across diverse maritime environments, mission profiles, and real-world operating conditions. Not every day is perfect by design. We stress test our systems, push our vessels to their limits, and operate in challenging scenarios because that is how gaps are identified and performance improves. Every mile logged and every hour underway informs the next software update, the next design change, and the next operational improvement. If you aren’t finding issues quickly and fixing them expeditiously, you aren’t improving. This is how we advance maritime autonomy, fast. We build quickly, test and validate continuously, and iterate in real operating conditions so we can deliver capability that is proven, reliable, and ready to deliver to naval and maritime operators around the world.

Meet the newest member of Saronic’s family of Autonomous Surface Vessels. Bayou-born. Mission-ready. Marauder. At 150-feet, Marauder is a medium unmanned surface vessel (MUSV) that will integrate the same proven autonomy stack used across Saronic’s existing ASVs. This new vessel has a payload capacity of 40 metric tons and is designed to travel up to 3,500 nautical miles or loiter for 30+ days, depending on the mission.
