DISTURBING: Who would believe that one day, at Ground Zero, where Islamic extremists killed thousands of Americans, the flag of another variety of Islamic extremism—the IRGC, which chants “Death to America” and has killed hundreds of Americans—would fly proudly?

Live scene at a beach bar in Tel Aviv, where an American tourist passed out. Within 3 minutes, Muslim and Orthodox Jewish paramedics from United Hatzalah had arrived on donated medically equipped scooters and were attending to her. This is whatever the opposite of apartheid is.

The open-source intelligence people have already identified the dry lake bed, 40 miles from the nearest road, deep in the Iraqi desert, that the Israeli Air Force used as a forward operating base. It was clearly more than an emergency strip; it was a full refueling and rearming base. Challenge for the OSINT people: go back through the data and find the sites that Israel used for the same purposes in the June 2025 Twelve Day War. They were much more critical then, and rest assured, they will find them.

For the record: Madrid Barajas Airport is the worst airport for a major world city. To get from the drop-off (which Ubers need to line up for 10 minutes to reach) to the gate, you will: 1. Walk around a mile 2. Go up and down no fewer than EIGHT unusually slow escalators, take two elevators, and ride a janky shuttle train. 3. Decipher bizarre signage that leaves people standing around in bewilderment asking each other for help 4. Meander through a mall where the signs to the gates are deliberately obscured. 5. Line up and scan your passport twice at automatic machines that mostly don't work. 6. Line up and show your passport to an immigration officer anyway. And God forbid you have a transfer! You will need to do all that twice! You can forgive JFK or LAX for being bad; they were built in the 1950s. But this was built in 2006. Avoid.

JD Vance: "Because I disagree with what Tucker has said about Abdul El Sayed I am going to disavow him, I am never going to that... it's disloyal." Okay, but what about the other things Tucker Carlson has said and done? Would any of these override whatever paramount oath of loyalty Vance has sworn to him? 1. Claiming Hitler was better than Churchill. 2. Calling a Holocaust denier his “favourite historian.” 3. Claiming Jews are an impostor race. 4. Promoting white nationalism and white supremacy. 5. Blaming Jews for Charlie Kirk’s murder by a pro trans radical. 6. Campaigning on behalf of the IRGC. 7. Shilling for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. 8. Spreading demented lies about Israel, Jews and 9/11. 9. Promoting racists Nick Fuentes and Ian Carroll. 10. Accusing Vance’s boss of being the Antichrist. 11. Claiming it would have been better for the UK not to fight Germany in WWII. Would any of those, in theory, be even worse than supporting El Sayed?

This was Hamas’s own PR: an 8-year-old hostage begging for her life. But they still won the PR battle, with the full support of Western media. If you are wondering why that is, you don’t know much about Jew-hate.

It’s miraculous that after firing 450 ballistic missiles as large as train carriages at Israel’s densest cities in an attempt to kill civilians at random, the collapsing Iranian regime has only managed to kill 24 people. But what happened yesterday morning in Tel Aviv—to Shana Fuld, a dozen other friends, and hundreds more neighbors—is stunning, creepy even. The spot where the missile fell is the only large vacant lot within 500 meters. It once housed a legendary Art Deco cinema, but that building burned down on this very day, exactly 39 years ago. The site was later demolished and has remained a parking lot ever since. A series of disputes and changes in ownership left it the last major empty lot in the neighborhood. And it was precisely there—right in the center of that lot, as far from surrounding buildings as possible—that this inaccurate terror weapon landed. It blew the facades off the two nearest buildings, and the shockwave shattered windows up to half a mile away. But the missile itself dove into the parking lot, and not a single person was killed by the hypersonic terror weapon the Iranian regime crippled its economy to build.

Israelis are singing along as Iceland’s Eurovision entry—where songs are supposed to be original—is a direct, note-for-note copy of a famous Eyal Golan song. Absolutely bizarre. Iceland plagiarized this Israeli song and then tried to get Israel expelled! Wild!

Tel Aviv mood: These people on the beach and at the bar all know some of them could be in uniform and in battle tomorrow and that they and their loved ones are at risk of missile attacks from maniacs 1,000 miles away. They are bracing for a potentially difficult week ahead. So they try to share only good vibes. They remind each other not to be negative, not to gossip. They greet each other with extra warmth. It's very touching. Jews from all over have flown in, one told me, "I felt I should be here, now more than ever." People are on edge but resolute that things will work out for the best. A reckoning with Hezboallah and Iran always had to come, sooner or later, and there was always going to be a price to pay, but Israel will prevail, as our enemies are evil. Shabbat Shalom

I suspect this is why Trump also hasn’t gone after Tucker. He has succession plans that don’t involve Vance, so is very happy to watch Vance clear himself off the board through association with white supremacists and conspiracy clowns as it increases his own freedom of action.

The IRGC are now hiding their remaining precious launchers dressed up as civilian trucks and inside highway tunnels—a sort of Hamas-inspired strategy. Getting the last 10% was always going to be the hardest part. But how effective are they anyway? In the four rounds of “True Promise” attacks, they have fired around 1,500 ballistic missiles at Israel and continue to fire 5 to 10 per day. This is well over half their stock, even accounting for rebuilding. With this, they have managed to kill 48 Israelis and cause a few billion in property damage. If they have 500 missiles and 150 launchers left—it is probably less—they will be able to keep “resisting” for another month or so and kill a few more Israelis at random, but then it’s all over. Their grand “Axis of Resistance” will no longer be a strategic threat to Israel, just an irritant to be occasionally swatted at. In truth, this has been the case for a while.

These losers at Eurovision booing Yuval Raphael—who survived 8 hours playing dead in a pile of the bodies of her friends—don't understand the real Jewish superpower: It's not innovation, industriousness, or intelligence, and it's certainly not athleticism. So what is it? It's not caring what others think of you. It's being stubbornly willing to go against the grain and take a contrary position, even when outnumbered 100 to 1. That's the side effect of 40 generations of being an oppressed but resilient minority. Jews are who they are, and have thrived because of, not despite, the boos of their haters. So keep booing, losers, you're the source of all our victories.

Yair Golan—former IDF deputy chief of staff and leader of the “Democrats”, a hard-left party formed of the cumulative mergers over decades of a series of far-left, even Stalinist groups into Israel’s once-hegemonic Labor Party—wants his erstwhile allies in the failed (for it has indeed failed) “anti-Netanyahu anti-Haredi change coalition”, Eisenkot, Lapid, Bennett and Lieberman, to use these Hamas sympathisers of the Joint List, who here dedicate their results “to Gaza”, to oust the Zionist right and Netanyahu, even as the IDF battles to mop up the remnants of Hamas in Gaza. This eventuality would be Netanyahu’s fever dream—a martyrdom at the hands of a left-Islamist alliance he could paint as traitors—to be followed inevitably by a Jesus-like revival after three months. They failed in their attempt to build a “change coalition” because they didn’t have a positive message. “We hate the Haredi and Netanyahu and we are gonna stick it to ’em” isn’t enough to win a majority. It also won’t be enough to justify to their electorates at the next election—which will be very soon if Yair Golan’s plan wins out—why they allied with actual enemies. This is a choice they actually can’t make anyway, since a number in their 48-ish-sized bloc won’t go along with it. So it’s just moot, and the merely performative act of floating it is damaging to their cause. But amazingly, this man who, but for a speech comparing IDF soldiers to the Third Reich on Memorial Day, would have replaced Eisenkot as IDF chief of staff in 2019, is no great strategic thinker.
