This is Damascus, the capital of my country. Israel bombed it less than a year ago, despite the fact that not a single shot had been fired at Israel from Syria for over 60 years. This had nothing to do with Iran, Hezbollah, or Hamas. It was part of Israel’s efforts to interfere in the country’s internal affairs and keep it divided and weak. So when Israelis claim that Israel does not attack those who do not attack it, Damascus proves otherwise.

In the comments, some pro-Israel voices are trying to claim that Israel’s actions were a defensive move to protect the Druze after Syrian forces entered As-Suwayda in the summer of 2025. • Let’s be absolutely clear: this narrative is a complete lie and total disinformation. Years before the Assad regime even collapsed, Israel was already cutting deals with Sheikh Hikmat al-Hajri, the Druze religious leader. The goal? To carve out a separatist Druze entity inside Syria, fully funded and backed by Israel. • Immediately after the Syrian regime fell specifically on December 17, 2024, just days after the collapse, Israel began dropping military supplies into As-Suwayda. This isn't a theory, it’s an investigation by The Washington Post proved that these Israeli airdrops contained military equipment and weapons. The reality is that Israel immediately partnered with Hikmat al-Hajri, a religious figure who commands armed militias and drug-smuggling rings targeting neighboring countries. This was done to build a local breeding ground for Israel's ultimate geopolitical agenda: (the Greater Israel and David Corridor ) project. Following this, Israel executed 15 separate airdrop operations into As-Suwayda. Multiple eyewitness testimonies and defectors from al-Hajri’s own forces have now exposed what was in those drops: (weapons, medical supplies, and body bags). The Syrian military campaign was actually launched to clear the city of Assad’s wanted criminals. On the other side, the trap was already set: trigger a conflict, attack Syrian forces, and provoke a reaction so Israel could play the hero, pretend to "protect" the Druze, bomb the Syrian military, and block them from entering the city. That is exactly what they did. From day one, the Syrian government extended its hand, making it clear to everyone in As-Suwayda that they are equal Syrian citizens. Yet, when every single armed faction across the country voluntarily dissolved themselves during the Victory Conference, this religious Sheikh ordered his militias in As-Suwayda to boycott the conference and refuse to disarm. This brief summary is just the tip of the iceberg. This information is heavily documented and verified by international bodies and mainstream global media, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and numerous other Arab and international sources. Translate it and fact-check it yourself) Israel and its puppets in Syria are desperate to bury the truth, manufacturing wild fairy tales to protect their sectarian, separatist agenda. But they will fail. The Syrian people, through their unity, iron will, and awareness, are going to bury this project very soon. A nation that successfully smashed a brutal, dictatorial regime and all its superpower backers will definitely not be stopped by Israel and its remnants inside Syria 🇸🇾
