9:00am in a New Zealand Garden. The sun is giving us a juicy dose of morning rays. I've got out a favorite that needs some loving detail. Tuis and Fantails are native birds to New Zealand. I was lucky enough to have them playing in the tree above me. We also got a visit from a Yellow Hammer and had a Kererū talking in the distance.

The bold contrast doesn’t mute the vibrancy—it enhances it. The yellows, blues, and reds burn brighter against the deeper blacks and earth tones. The next goal is to capture and enhance the rhythmic movement of the shears, the flick of wool, the curve of a back straining in concentration.
