Democrats' plan continues to send your money to health insurance companies and doesn’t lower health care costs. Under our plan, we give you a Health Savings Account so you can shop for the best deal. It trusts the PATIENT to be in CHARGE of her care, lowering her costs!

President Trump is 100% right: We should send health care dollars directly to patients, not insurance companies. My proposal does exactly this. This is a real solution that empowers American families.

Under the Democrats' plan, the insurer decides your care. Under ours, the patient has the power to shop, compare prices, and lower health care costs.

Democrats want to send $26B to insurance companies to subsidize silver plans with $6,000 deductibles. Most families DON’T HAVE $6,000 on hand before insurance even helps. A deductible that high is the same as having no insurance at all.

The health care debate comes down to a simple choice: Do we continue subsidizing big insurance companies? Or do we empower patients to make smart health care choices and put more money in their pockets? It’s not a hard decision. I choose the patient 100% of the time.

Despite constant objection from Senate Democrats, I’m still pushing to pass the SAVE America Act. About 95% of Republicans and about 70% of DEMOCRATS agree that you should have to show an ID to vote. Congress MUST get this critical, common-sense legislation across the finish line!
