For generations, the people of Village Kuntwara in District Kishtwar which is predominantly hindu population of approximately 8000-10000 thousand have been forced to survive in conditions no citizen should endure, struggling without basic road connectivity and trekking 7-8 hours on foot just to access essential household needs or medical care. In moments of sickness and emergencies, men, women, and even the elderly are carried on stretchers across dangerous terrain, and many lose their lives before reaching help. Despite repeated promises, the road from Kandni to Kuntwara and Ohli is consistently ignored and excluded from development schemes, leaving the community trapped in neglect rooted in unfair bias. It is natural for those responsible whether NC or Congress to feel uneasy when a simple question is asked: why has a region with nearly 90% Hindu population been deprived of basic facilities for so long, despite sacrificing so much in the fight against militancy? Being nationalist is not their fault it is their pride and they deserve not just recognition, but the basic rights and dignity that come with proper connectivity and development. Bhartiya Janta party stands firm in demanding that progress reach every household, every community, and every citizen irrespective of religion. Inclusive development is not a favor, it is a right. We are here to present the truth and demand accountability, so that progress reaches everyone.
