On July 26, 1977, Robert Plant received the devastating news that his five-year-old son Karac had died from a sudden stomach illness. The remaining dates of Led Zeppelin’s U.S. tour were cancelled as Plant returned home to grieve with his family. Songs such as “All My Love” later became lasting tributes to the boy he lost.
