The bodies of our #Kuki_Zo brothers and sisters have finally been given to us today after about 8 months. I don't know whether I'm sad & pained today, or whether I'm glad. It's very difficult to comprehend my feelings right now, Whether the tears that are forming are for sadness or are for gladness, knowing what must be going through the family of their loved ones, what they must be thinking, what they must be doing. How angry they must be feeling. How sad they must be feeling. How helpless they must be feeling. I know the pain that helplessness of losing someone when I lost my dad. So, I know very well what must be going through their minds. All I can say for sure is, let their sacrifices and their pain, and your pain not go in vain. It just cannot. Dated: Manipur, 5th Oct. 2023. House of Human Rights Activist Babloo Loithangbam vandalized because he dared to speak against the Unemployed Arambai Tenggol Militants and Meitei Leepun Extremists. Now, he's even forced to issue an apology regarding the matter. Oh yes, he's a Meitei himself. Peace is a far cry in Manipur with Militants like these openly roaming and being active. Not even Meiteis are safe against these Militants. Now just imagine how it would be for the Kuki-Zo Tribals if we actually returned to the Valley of Death and Arsons?
