DJ Toomp heard a Playaz Circle song and told 2Chainz he loved it so much he was going to use the same sample. He ended up remaking the same exact beat and sample, he gives it to Jay-Z who then puts it on American Gangster and it steps on any chance of it becoming their follow up single to Duffle Bag Boy. Years later 2Chainz asks Jay for a feature and he declines… 2Chainz hates Toomp til this day. 😂

Funny thing is he was around the whole time he just patiently waited for his turn. People think this shit be happening over night but the reality is, everybody had to be uncomfortable at some point. Whether it’s being a backup dancer, carrying crates, or rolling blunts. Do whatever you gotta do just to be in the room.

The biggest misconception of Snowfall is that everybody was rich because of Franklin when it’s simply not true. EVERYBODY contributed equally to the success of the business. When Franklin was green getting bullied by Claudia, Lenny, and Ray Ray it was Leon who put down the scariest nigga on the whole show (Karvel). Louie got off the 1st brick, Jerome put the crew together and Leon was the muscle. Franklin would’ve never made 73 Million without his auntie, uncle, and best friend.

Fun Fact: Twista was at the photo shoot for his album Adrenaline Rush and he didn’t like the clothes the stylist chose for him, he saw a white lady by the name of Wendy Day (Rap Coalition) on set wearing a Coogi and he asked her could he wear it for the shoot. lol

Everyone thinks Leon only became righteous after accidentally killing a child. Yes, it changed his trajectory but the person he became was always in him. He knew early on that what they were doing was wrong, Franklin knew too but their moral compasses were gauged differently. Franklin was driven by the money while Leon always stood on loyalty and principle. Cissy gave her own life for her son while Leon’s own mother stole from hers. Funny how life works.
