The terrible CER cutscenes made me wanna rewatch the Halo 2 Day At The Beach short, and it reminded me why I’ll always prefer actual animation over mocap The scene with the Elite commanding his squad with zero dialogue, and just body movements, is SO well done

One of my favorite scenes in the entire original trilogy. They were able to express exactly how Chief felt at this moment purely through the music and Chief’s body language. The way he slightly looks down for a short bit when you see him from behind, and then he looks back up
