Bamutakudde cleaning Day: This week's community cleaning was special in #Bamutakudde. We didn't just clean — we planted the future🌱. 2,000 trees: 🌸 1,000 cherry blossoms along our village highway. 1,000 fruit trees for homes & gardens 🥭 Grateful to Good Forests Foundation Uganda for partnering with us on this greening journey. Together, we are building the village we call home.

Proud day in Bamutakudde. Today we hosted the Chief Administrative Officer of Mukono District, Owek. Henry Ddamba, in #Bamutakudde Village. He commended the community & LC1 chairman for providing murram to upgrade our roads, and pledged support for our vision to transform Bamutakudde into a model village. #CommunitySupport

My appreciation goes out to Mukono District Local Government especially the LC 5 chairman Owek. Francis Lukooya Mukoome for honoring their promise following the meeting we had over the weekend. They have opened our roads in Bamutakudde village and neighboring villages. They have also started working on the bridge at the place where River Musale intersects with the road. Together, one village at a time. #Bamutakuddee

The Attorney General Kiryowa Kiwanuka today appeared before the legal and parliamentary affairs committee to defend the Protection of Sovereignty bill. He put up a fight to defend the cap of 400m for any person or agent of a foreigner receiving money from a foreigner.

BREAKING: Tensions flare at Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo over the #ProtectionOfSovereigntyBill2026. A section of MPs clashed with a committee chair after he proposed adopting the Attorney General’s amended bill as-is, skipping clause-by-clause review of public submissions. “All the public consultations have just been put in the bin. We just went with the Attorney General’s revised bill,” a source told me anonymously. #UgandaParliament

We have spent 6 months digging into the ghost health centers of Ntungamo district. There are over 20 health centers which do not exist on the ground but there are people paid on gov’t payroll since 2014. Erute South MP Jonathan Odur confronts committee chair at Munyonyo over the #ProtectionOfSovereigntyBill2026. He challenged the directive to adopt the committee report without debating the bill clause-by-clause. The joint committee passed the report anyway — 22 votes to 11.
