Though Sonic X isn't "canon" to the games: A) It featured Sonic Team's vision B) Shiro Maekawa confirmed the existence of official SEGA character templates and direct involvement (highlight S2) C) it has Sonic Channel cameos D) Sonic game writers worked on the (SonAmy) episodes

(🧵) "Hikaru Michi" replaced "Natsu No Hi" in later releases, but it still has a romantic tone. In fact, it's more direct with romance (e.g., "let's kiss in secret")! The lyrics echo the canon narrative of Amy and Sonic's romance having a veil of secrecy. #SonAmy #SonAmyArchive
