🇵🇰🇮🇶 “Pakistani-boy” Zidane Iqbal silences Kuwait crowd with a goal Arabia Social media is buzzing over Iraqi midfielder Zidane Iqbal whose Pakistani heritage became a talking point during Iraq’s dramatic 3–2 victory over Kuwait. ◾ Zidane faced boos and taunts from sections of the Kuwait crowd, with his Pakistani roots used as an insult. ◾ He responded on the pitch, scoring Iraq’s opening goal before celebrating in front of the Kuwait supporters. ◾ After the match, Zidane addressed the abuse by Kuwaiti fans and proudly referred to himself as the “Pakistani boy” who scored against Kuwait. “Now they will remember the Pakistani boy who scored against them.” - Zidane said in the press conference.

India:— Municipal workers dump the statues of Lord Ganesh (Hindu God) in a dirty river after the end of the annual Ganesh birth celebration festival. The contradiction is hard to ignore. When minorities in India are accused of disrespecting Hindu beliefs, they face serious violence and mob attacks that often result in lynchings and deaths. Yet Hindu idols representing the same deities are routinely dumped in rivers and discarded or left amid waste.
