A lady on TikTok posted a video on her page today, the first video. It shows her being awarded the Best Graduating Student at LOGIC Foundation Class by Pastor Flourish Peters. But the problem becomes apparent when you see the lifestyle of the girl. In the second video, she boasts about sexual activities. She talks about how she can engage in sexual acts for a sustained period of time. She boasts about engaging in oral sex licentiously. She boasts about how she relishes ingesting semen orally. She says she is “mischievous,” boastfully. But that is not all. She talks about other more depraved illicit acts she cherishingly engages in. For example, she describes someone she has designated an “Eater.” According to her, this person performs oral sex on her, and she in turn records the sounds she makes and shares these recordings with her “inner circle.” That is practically pornography. And that is apart from other licentious lifestyle practices like narrative pornography, nudity, etc. This person was awarded the Best Graduating Student of LOGIC Church’s foundational Bible program. Now, why are we making this post? God bears us witness, it is not primarily because of the girl, but because of the pastor. Right now, if this girl unfortunately dies, she will not be part of the kingdom of heaven. Why? The Bible denounces this sort of lifestyle. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God.” — 1 Thess. 4:3–5 Then it says God’s judgment comes upon those who live in such sin: “The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before.”- 1 Thess. 2:16. If this lady dies today, her soul will wake up in God's eternal judgement in hell. Why would God judge those who engage in sexual immorality? It is because our bodies, as believers, are now the temple of God, and God will destroy anyone who destroys His temple: “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.” — 1 Cor. 3:16–17 Let God deal with Spiricoco, be it ever so severely, if we are not writing this with quaking fingers and tears lining our very eyes. This girl’s soul is wasting away in sin. Her soul is gone deep in the death of sin, at the moment. And her pastor has not been able to tell her that the works of the flesh are manifest: “Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality…”— Gala. 5:19 And that those who engage in them will be judged by God: “I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” — Gala. 5:21 Flourish Peters has not told her that: “God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: ‘The Lord knows those who are his,’ and, ‘Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.’” — 2 Tim. 2:19 Pastor Flourish has not told her that she must abandon the evil ways in which her mind was once controlled by lust against God before she was saved: “They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart... and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness.” — Eph. 4:18 Instead, what does Flourish Peters do? He gave her an award, and told her only to stop sharing “those spicy content.” So, he knows about these vulgar corrupt communications from her. But his problem was not that she was doing sexually immoral things, but that she was sharing them. That was Flourish Peters’ concern. This is a major church in the heart of Lagos where many attend. Right now, the lady’s soul is in corruption and sin, and Flourish Peters, who was meant to deliver the washing word of truth, has not. If Flourish Peters really preached to her, she should have repented, turned back from these sinful life to the living God. Like the Ephesians burnt their spellbooks when Paul preached to them, this girl should have done the same if Peters really shared the gospel of life with her. But he obviously didn't share the whole counsel of God with her. Finally, we share this to show you the danger of hypergrace doctrine. In LOGIC Church, they preach that we don’t need to ask for forgiveness anymore. They preach the “once saved, forever saved” doctrine. This is the fruit of that doctrine. A grace that has been turned into licentiousness. There is no one who lives like that who will make heaven. Hypergrace is damnation, and LOGIC Church preaches it. This is the fruit. The time to talk about Flourish Peters is not here yet. He is not alone. The man from whom all these doctrines originate was the subject of discussion on Christian Twitter all of last week. But we have said this to warn you: to know the wolves in your midst. To beware of false preachers, the apostles of Satan. To be diligent with the Word, and fervent in prayers that you may guard against temptation. To keep your garments clean, and to live circumspectly in this world. When the time to fight comes, God will put Satan under our feet. Peace be with you. Amen.

Pastor Tolu, whatever Pastor Segun Onayinka was accused of was not merely an accusation. He has preached some of the most destructive heresies. The video below is an example. From minute 0:13–0:40, he says God cannot kill or does not kill. We have had this discussion before here on CT. Anyone who says God cannot kill or does not kill necessarily ends up holding one or more of the following positions: That the God of the Old Testament is not the true God. That He is evil. That Scripture is not inerrant. And Pastor Segun Onayinka holds all these positions, as we will see in the video. From minute 1:58–2:38, he says Jesus, the true God, when He came, hurt no one, killed no one, and made no one sick; therefore, that is the true representation of God. This is the heresy of Marcion, who taught that the God of the Old Testament was evil and wicked, while Jesus alone is the true God. But God Himself says He kills and gives life. He is merciful, but He also judges with wrath. “See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god beside Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of My hand.” — Deuteronomy 32:39 And when God revealed Himself to Moses, He declared both His mercy and His justice: — Exodus 34:6–7 This is God’s self-disclosure about Himself. However, Marcion created a new canon of Scripture for himself in order to uphold this heresy. He removed all the Old Testament books and retained only parts of Paul’s writings. He also removed portions connected to the Jews. That was deeply antisemitic. That same bitter antisemitism found in Marcion’s heresy appears to have been inherited by Pastor Segun Onayinka, as we will see in the video. From minute 2:57–3:12, he blatantly rejects that Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He says one of the twenty-four elders who called Him that was corrected because he was a Jew. Firstly, Jesus is the Lion. Secondly, no one corrected the elder. These elders stand before God’s throne. They are holy beings. But Pastor Tolu, this man whom you say was merely “accused” blatantly rejected Scripture, which says Jesus is both the Lion and the Lamb. But did Jesus kill? Of course He did. He is God. The One who gives life also has the authority to take it. They say Jesus was never recorded killing anyone in the New Testament. Well, Jesus did not begin existing in the New Testament. He is eternal. And Jude records Him killing the entire rebellious generation of Israel: “Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” — Jude 1:5 Jesus did kill. He can. He is God. But this is Segun Onayinka. By the way, this is one of his more tolerable heretical positions. He has said worse. He believes communion and baptism are not necessary. He believes Jesus is not coming back, no second coming, that He never left. Look, if Jesus is not coming back, then there is no resurrection of the dead. And if there is no resurrection, then we have no hope. As Paul said: “If the dead are not raised, ‘Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.’” — 1 Corinthians 15:32 Paul even asked: “What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, ‘Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.’” — 1 Corinthians 15:32 These kinds of teachings were condemned by the apostles. Paul cursed those who taught it. All of them. Peter cursed them so much in 2 Peter that the early church almost didn't add the book to the canon. This is precisely why Paul left Timothy in Ephesus and Titus in Crete: to silence those who taught such things. Finally, he held all these views while claiming biblical and theological scholarship that towered above every Nigerian preacher. He claimed he was part of a Bible translation committee. He has been asked which one, and till date, there has been no answer. We want to be moderate. But if the early church heard what he preached, he would have been declared anathema instantly. Pastor Segun Onayinka, unless he has changed and repented, has preached some of the most dangerous heresies in this nation. Preachers like him should not be tolerated in the community of the sanctified. He doesn't hold to sound doctrine. Scripturally, he is unfit to be an overseer. But you claim he was falsely accused. He wasn't. Pastor Segun Onayinka has preached has not preached the sound gospel of the faith. And God will put Satan under our feet soon. Amen.

The video below shows Flourish Peters, leader of the LOGIC Church in Lagos, revealing the type of preacher the apostles warned believers about. A member asked him how he'd explain the Flood and God destroying the earth since he'd taught God never killed or kills in the previous Sunday. At 00:03, he begins by discrediting Moses’ authorship and witness of the Genesis account, dismissing the flood narrative because “Moses was not there.” This is a serious claim. Whether knowingly or not, by denying the credibility of Moses, Peters essentially calls God a liar. God revealed the early creation account to Moses. As Scripture says, “No prophecy ever came by human will, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21). Rejecting Moses’ account is rejecting God's revelation. This is typical of those who do not speak for the God of the Bible. At 00:51, Peters insists that the flood account should not be read as historical. Brethren, a so-called preacher denies what God, Jesus, and His apostles established happened. He tries to obscure the issue with theological jargon, saying, “What happened to Noah was theology, and the ark was the shadow.” This statement is not only theologically meaningless but also misleading. At 01:47, he goes further to reinterpret the Genesis flood, claiming that the event was not God’s doing, but rather the “absence of God.” This means it wasn't God who rained the flood that destroyed the world in judgment. He argues that the ark represented Christ, and just as we invite people to the gospel today, God was inviting people into the ark—not judging them. But Scripture says otherwise: “And God said to Noah… ‘Behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh’” (Genesis 6:13, 17). “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become... so the Lord said, ‘I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created’” (Genesis 6:5–7). Let's even assume it is like the call of the gospel, would God not judge in eternal damnation those who reject the gospel? So, why deny God judged the world in the flood? It is because the God men like him speak about must permit sin. He is not the God of the Bible. It is the doctrine of demons. By brazenly denying this, Flourish Peters strips God of His justice, righteousness, and sovereign authority to judge sin. This is the hallmark of the false doctrines the Bible warns about. A denial of the core attributes of God. These false preachers create a god in their own image, one who tolerates sin. This is not the God of the Bible who speaks through these men. This is the Babylon the Great, the harlot of Revelation. He further attempts to use Hebrews to reinterpret Genesis 5–6. Interestingly, he didn't use the actual chapters in Genesis to answer the question. Why? Because he was going to present a God who wasn't revealed in the Bible. What Peters denies, the apostle Peter affirms: “By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed” (2 Peter 3:6). Here, Apostle Peter said God destroyed the world in a flood. But Flourish Peters denies and rejects that. This man leads a popular church in Lagos. Instead of answering the simple question—Who destroyed the earth?—Peters claims the flood story is only “revelational,” not historical. This is baseless. Revelation does not cancel historicity. God revealed creation to Moses, yet it happened. Revelation does not equal fiction. Shockingly, Peters also denies God’s final judgment, rejecting the biblical truth that God will destroy the earth at the end of time: "By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly." (2 Peter 2:3) "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. (2 Pet. 2:10) Here, the Bible says God will judge the world by His word with fire. Peters denies that. This is a heresy, brethren, a denial of the core tenets of the faith. He concludes by boasting that attendees of his church have the equivalent of a diploma in theology and are more enlightened than many pastors because they listen to him. He claims he’s “done a clean job.” This is the clean job he did - implying God lied, rejecting the teachings of the apostles, and darkening biblical doctrine. Brethren, this video reveals the kind of minister Flourish Peters truly is—an enemy of Christ. Paul warned us: “For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:13–14) “Now I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Avoid them.” (Romans 16:17). Look at what Paul further said about people like him: “They will say, ‘Where is this ‘coming’ He promised?’... But the day of the Lord will come like a thief” (2 Peter 3:4–10). These men in their ungodliness deny the Lord, His word, and His sovereignty. They shipwreck the faith of many. These are the wolves Paul tearfully warned the Ephesian elders about (Acts 20:29–30). They walk among us—dangerous, persuasive, and deceitful. Mark and avoid them. They do not speak for God, and His judgment awaits their rebellion. P.S. The root of these heresies in Nigeria is Segun Onayinka—the chief architect of this false gospel. By God’s grace, we will share his falsehood in due time. Amen.

The prosperity gospel has deeply infiltrated nearly every level of the Nigerian church. For the first time, we want to share a clip from Bishop David Abioye to show how most major ministries have been misled by its corrupt doctrines. Bishop David Oyedepo once claimed that Job's suffering was a result of not paying tithes. However, the Bible does not support this. Job's calamities were allowed by God to demonstrate his righteousness to Satan. Job himself worshipped God, acknowledging that God gives and takes. Furthermore, Job lived before Abraham and Moses, so he couldn’t have been aware of tithing. In the video below, Bishop Abioye states that Jesus' primary mission was to address poverty. He also claimed that sickness is better than poverty and that Jesus came with power and prosperity, becoming so wealthy that His money replenished overnight. Lastly, he stated that Jesus became poor so that we might be rich. The prosperity gospel is driven by a lying spirit. It corrupts the doctrine of even the most sincere man of God. First, Jesus did not come to eliminate poverty. He came to grant eternal life through His death, which is available to everyone, rich or poor. This is something everyone needs, especially the rich. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." This was the purpose of Jesus' mission—offering escape from judgment and eternal life. He became sin for us so that we could become the righteousness of God, not to eradicate poverty. 1 Peter 1:3–5 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." A living hope in heaven. That's what Jesus died for. As for sickness being better than poverty, consider a mother whose five-year-old child had brain cancer in that service. Wouldn’t she trade all the wealth in the world for her child’s health? Bishop Abioye claimed that Jesus was respected because of His prosperity, but the Bible teaches otherwise. Jesus earned acclaim not from wealth, but from His teaching and the power of the Spirit. Mark 1:22 states, "And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes." Similarly, Mark 1:27 says, "And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, 'What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him." Jesus commanded reverence because of His doctrine and His power, not because of material wealth. Bishop Abioye also claimed that Jesus was wealthy, but the Bible never says that. In fact, the miracle of feeding the five thousand was prompted by a lack of money to buy food. John 6:7 states, "Philip answered Him, 'Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.'" The prosperity gospel is not true. To promote it, one must distort Scripture, and that’s exactly what has happened here. We’ve seen similar distortions from other church leaders. Pastor Ibiyeomi recently claimed that Jesus hated poor people and never visited them. He even said we should be angry if we associate with the poor. He misquoted the verse about Jesus becoming poor so that we could be rich, just as Bishop Abioye did. Recently, Dr. Paul Enenche said that Satan wouldn’t fear a poor church, even if it were fervent in prayer. Pastor Chris also said that to be poor is to be close to wickedness, claiming that Lazarus, the only poor man in heaven, was kept in Abraham’s house because he didn’t own a house. This logic suggests that earthly wealth can somehow secure a place in heaven, which is not true. In fact, Abraham’s bosom represents paradise, the reward for all the righteous, regardless of their earthly wealth. Pastor Chris further suggested that the rich man ordered Lazarus to give him water because he knew Lazarus was poor. However, the true reason was that the rich man finally recognized that Lazarus, not he, had true riches. Lazarus begged him on earth, he begged Lazarus in eternity. It was a tragedy for him. Many others perpetuate this damaging view, like Biodun Fatoyinbo, who claimed you can’t trust the godliness of a poor man. And Korede Komaiya, who said poverty killed Jesus and that His apostles were "riff-raff" because they lacked billions. Why are we highlighting this now? The prosperity gospel has caused great harm to the body of Christ in Nigeria. It has replaced the saving power of the cross with cash. As a result, we have no revival, and many Christians are serving their desires instead of God. God and the church have been reduced to a spiritual shopping mall where people come to get things. Many leave Nigeria, enjoying basic comforts, only to forget the church because they were never taught about the true riches of eternal life. We are not highlighting these issues out of disdain for SOME of the leaders mentioned here. If that were our goal, may God’s judgment fall on the hand that types these words. Rather, we are speaking out so that we can all wake up and recognize how Satan has infiltrated our ranks with his false gospel. Some of these leaders are victims themselves, having been mentored by American mainstream ministers who propagated the capitalist gospel. This tradition has been passed down for so long that it feels like the truth, but it is not. It has damaged the gospel in the West, and now it is damaging us. It has hurt Jesus and His ways. But a revival is here, and God’s light is shining through once again. Prosperity gospel is a lie. It will die. The gospel of righteousness is the true and eternal truth, to God’s glory alone. Amen.

WARNING: DISTURBING VIDEO This is the clip of Islamic terrorists who kidnapped children in Oyo State torturing them with fire. And this post is not even to address the government, but the church. Tinubu has failed. So we are turning to the spiritual conscience of the nation. Why is the collective church quiet? This is our question. Why does this not bother the collective church? Why does the church only speak during elections and not while the consequences of the election are happening? During the last election, we were told by some preachers that “Saul will come before David.” To that preacher: Saul has come now. But where is your voice, like Samuel, who told him he had rebelled against God and that the kingdom would be taken away from him? We were told by another preacher that this government is like Solomon or something. Where is your voice, sir? To the pastors who are close to power: You have invited present and former government officials to your conferences, seminars, and other high-class elite events this year. Where is your voice? Again, Tinubu has failed. But the church is the government of God on this earth. What we bind here is bound in heaven. We will judge this earth. “We will judge the world.” — 1 Corinthians 6:2 The prophet and the priest have always been the ones who judged corrupt governments. We see it throughout the Old Testament. Why do we use Old Testament patriarchs who were rich as examples for the prosperity gospel, but ignore the prophets who rebuked kings? During Abacha’s time, the church banded together to rebuke him and warred against him in prayer. You have not done this against Tinubu. You have not denounced him collectively. And the blood of the innocent flows. God is angry. He hates when innocent blood is spilled. If God is angry, how are you all at ease? And if you are not at ease, why are you not talking? In times of national crisis, the church prays like Mordecai and speaks like Esther. Right now, we are not even sure if either is being done. The church is the conscience of the nation. John spoke against Herod. Jesus spoke against Herod. Why have you all not spoken against Tinubu? Terrorists are in Ibadan, Osun, and Kwara. They were in the Middle Belt. We did almost nothing. Now they are at your doorstep. To the church in Nigeria, what has happened to you?

RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR ALLEGEDLY PERSECUTES CHRISTIAN PG STUDENT We received an SOS in our DM from a student from RSU. According to accounts provided by the student of Rivers State University, an incident allegedly occurred on campus yesterday involving a postgraduate student and a senior lecturer. He reports that a PG student, who is a former President of the Postgraduate Christian Fellowship, entered a Year 1 Computer Engineering class during a free period to give a brief Christian/motivational talk. The student alleges that a lecturer identified as Prof. Benjamin Senibo Pepple from the Department of Physics and a former DVC entered the room during the talk and aggressively confronted the PG student. Witnesses claim that the lecturer allegedly slapped the student several times, pulled his shirt, and verbally harassed him before contacting the CSO. The PG student was allegedly detained by campus security from morning until night and is now reported to be in poor health. Students further allege that similar incidents involving Christian student leaders have happened before and are calling on the RSU leadership, state authorities, and the public to intervene. They are requesting an independent investigation to confirm what occurred and to ensure the safety and rights of all students. The student has been released but may soon be redetained, according to what the CSO allegedly said upon his release. Below are videos to the effect:

Pastor Ibiyeomi doubles down on the anti-biblical claim he made last week that Jesus hates poor people and that he never visited them. He claimed he was told the statement had drawn heavy backlash. This prompted him to ask the Holy Spirit to know if his position was wrong. He said the Holy Spirit said he wasn't wrong. Meaning the holy spirit supports the claim that Jesus hates poor people and never visited their houses. Even though He visited the house of Peter, a poor fisherman who was untrained and uneducated. At 1:07, he said we should be angry when we mix and relate with poor people. He furthered by saying we can only help but not associate with them. You know, things like this stump us. We don't know what to feel. Anger, pain, hurt, disappointment? We think we feel a little bit of all at the same time. Pastor Ibiyeomi has simply borne false witness against God and the Holy Spirit here. How can he say we cannot associate with the poor? When Paul was given the right hand of fellowship, the apostles charged him to look after the poor and he himself was eager to. Galatians 2:10 "All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I had been eager to do all along." Who is lying here? The apostles or pastor Ibiyeomi? Pastor Ibiyeomi said what the Holy Spirit never said. Did the Scriptures not say we should not despise the poor? Proverbs 17:5 "Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished." What did James say about the treatment of the poor in the church? He called for equal treatment. James 2:3-4 If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, “Here’s a good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there” or “Sit on the floor by my feet.” Have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? This was James telling us it is evil to think in the ways Pastor Ibiyeomi has thought about the poor. It is evil. It is against the word of God. 5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? If the Lord loves the poor enough to give them the inheritance of glory, how come that same Holy Spirit told him not to associate with them? Brethren, this is a lie against the Spirit. If the Lord blessed those who are poor in the Beatitudes, only a spirit not from Him would despise them the way Pastor Ibiyeomi has done. Brethren, this is a falsehood. We will receive a backlash for this, but that is fine. Additionally, Pastor Ibiyeomi falsely quoted the Bible. In 1:31, he said Jesus said He died to bring us out of poverty. Nowhere did Jesus say this in Scripture. Nowhere. And when Bible said Jesus became poor that we may be rich, for the sake of God, this wasn't talking about cash. Jesus took the form of a servant when He became man to die for us so that we'd have redemption and sonship in Him. That act of emptying Himself brought the full riches of the glory of God on us. They are redemption, sanctification, justification, and glorification at the end of time. This is our precious hope, the one reserved in heaven for us, which we look forward to. This wasn't about cash. Never has been and never will be. Using this to ridicule and dismiss the poor and promising money is not of God. It's a false gospel. Pastor Ibieyeomi, in this instance, has preached a gospel that neither Jesus nor His apostles preached. Lastly, we charge all believers reading this to stand firm in the true gospel. Please, sit right with the word of God. We ask you to pick up the New Testament and commit the next 90 days to reading it. You will find out many things flying about in the churcsphere of this nation are not from God. We ask you to know this Bible for yourself, so that you won't be misled by those who would not honor it enough to teach what it says. So that you would be built on the knowledge of the glory of God, which is on the face of Jesus. May the Lord God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ keep shining His light in our hearts and lead us in triumphant procession in Christ. To Him alone be all glory and praise. Amen. Amen.

BREAKING: FOX News reports that a delegation of Nigerian lawmakers has traveled to Washington to lobby President Trump and Congress against labeling Nigeria as a perpetrator of Christian genocide, while failing to take action to halt the atrocities. Contributor Raymond Aroyo claims the genocide aims to execute an Egyptian-style eradication and displacement of Christians. NOTE: The Nigerian government continues to deny the existence of genocide and has not formally addressed the issue. But awareness is spreading. And we will prevail.

In 2022, Muslims in the North accused Rhoda Jatau of blasphemy in Northern Nigeria for sharing a video condemning the brutal lynching of Deborah Yakubu, who was also accused and killed for blasphemy. Rhoda spent two years in prison before being fully acquitted and released this December 10th, 2024. Her charges included blasphemy, cybercrime, and religious disturbance. During this time, her neighborhood was burned by an Islamic mob enraged by her condemnation of Deborah’s murder. A mother of five, Rhoda was often denied access to her family and legal support. ADF International Sean Nelson took up her case, leading to her eventual freedom. Remarkably, while in prison, Rhoda started a daily fellowship group, exemplifying her faith and resilience. Today, Rhoda is free, a testament to the courage of Christians facing persecution in Northern Nigeria. We continue to pray for strength and protection for others enduring similar trials.

⚠️ GRAPHIC CONTENT Yesterday, Fulani Islamic jihadists killed approximately 51 people in the Zike community, Kimakpa, Kwall District of Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau State. Among the victims were women and children—now being buried in mass graves by grieving locals. This tragedy comes just two weeks after a similar attack in the Bokkos community, where around 21 people were brutally murdered. What we are witnessing is not random violence. It is a coordinated campaign of terror. Radical Islamic armed groups are systematically attacking Christian communities in a bid to de-Christianise the region and impose Islamic rule. Farmasum Fuddang, Chairman of the Bokkos Cultural Development Council (BCDC), stated that the attackers' goal is to “seize our land and impose a caliphate” on the indigenous communities. As of now, over 64 communities have reportedly been taken over by these Islamic militants. They have displaced thousands, renamed these communities, and now live in them without resistance. Governor Caleb Muftwang confirmed this development in a statement reported by Channels TV. Let us not forget the 200 Christians killed in Plateau State on Christmas Eve, in another majority-Christian community. This is the grim reality faced daily by our Christian brothers and sisters in Northern Nigeria. Why are we sharing this? Two reasons: 1. To expose the violent foundation of radical Islam. According to the teachings of Muhammad in Qur’an 9:29: "Fight those who do not believe in Allah or the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture — until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." We—Christians and Jews—are the ones "given the Scripture." The command here is chillingly clear: we are to be subjugated or eliminated unless we convert. 2. To call Southern Christian leaders to action. We must raise our voices in advocacy for our persecuted brethren. Let us not be silent in the comfort of our cathedrals while blood cries out from the soil of Bassa, Bokkos, and beyond. We have influence, resources, and platforms—we usually boast about this. Let us use them. Just as Esther rose in her day to deliver her people from genocide, let us also rise.
