The Winter Mental Health Sessions Can do it indoor, outdoor, bike, tempo walk, row. Aim is simple. You walk for a period and run for a period. Beginners might do 1 minute walk, 20 seconds run ( has to feel 7-8/10 hard). As you get fit you aim for 1 min walk, 1 minute run. If you're a beginner don't be a hero or you'll tear muscles. Beginner. 1 min walk, 30 seconds run. X 5 or 10. Intermediate 1 min walk, 1 minute run. X 5 or 10. Fit. 1 min walk, 1 min run. X 15/20 or 30. 3 times a week. Never on consecutive days. The Mental Health Sessions 1 min 7.8kph walk 1 min 20kph run Repeat above for 60 mins. Forget speeds, walk should feel 1/10 easy, run should feel 6 or 7/10 hard. So speeds are irrelevant. 2 to 3 times a week and in 1 month you'll feel significantly better mentally and physically. Form the habit and it'll guide you through winter. Pinned tweet gives details.
