I come to you from Coney Island, where my family has stood for over one hundred years. I myself have walked these streets for forty nine years. We have served the people the best we could. We have made mistakes. We are not perfect, but we have always tried to be the best version of ourselves. And now, after sixteen years, I am back. Not just to return, but to give. I have been given the opportunity to share with the next generation everything I have learned, everything I have experienced in another country, another land. The peace that lives inside me is not mine to keep. I must pass it on, especially to the children who come from where I come from. They need to know about work ethic. They need to know about resilience. They need to believe that they can do it too. They can become presidents. They can become whatever God has placed inside their hearts to be. That dream, that vision, that calling is unfolding right before their eyes. I say this to you as a child of God and a student of life. We are here only to serve. We will never place ourselves above the people. I am deeply grateful for every single person who shaped me, guided me, and spoke life into me through your words, your love, and your actions. You displayed discipline in me that built me up for this very moment. Today, I stand here giving what my mother, my father, and my brother would have given. To my father Donald E Marbury, my brother Eric D Marbury, and my mother Mabel Marbury, rest well. Know that we are here doing the work. We are making our ancestors proud. I flew back to My Other Home for a watch party hosted by a Chinese company, and they put on an amazing event 🎪 filled entirely with Spurs fans. At first, I thought I was alone. It almost felt like I’d walked into a setup, but it was all good. Then I spotted them 🧡🏀💙 3️⃣ Knicks fans. I recruited them on the spot, brought them to the front, and that was all the energy I needed. Just a little support. Someone who had my back. That’s when I became unstoppable. That’s when I could truly be me ⭐️☄️⭐️ and send every ounce of positive energy needed. Then it happened. The Knicks went up by 2:0 on the Spurs. The room shifted. And I let out a roar that cut straight through China. Let’s go NEW YORK KNICKS

As a point guard, you have a duty, bestowed by the basketball Gods, to always give. The knowledge of this game is a never-ending process of sharing. The next generation is evolving for the better but is also in need of more guidance. I love the direction the game is headed, and I am especially intrigued by how it will continue to grow. High school ball is different, college ball is different, and this leads to the pro game becoming a new style of play altogether. However, one thing remains the same: the foundation. Your attitude and mentality are everything. I hope this insight provides perspective and clarity to point guards everywhere, highlighting the keys needed to understand how the game is truly played. Remember, this is the hardest position on the court. Mastering it requires elite thinking and training to perform at the highest frequency. It can be done. Have fun, and enjoy the journey.
