Luke Weaver was incredibly thoughtful postgame talking about the mental side of this spiral. There’s no doubt this team is pressing to an extreme degree, which is the absolute worst thing you can do in baseball. Stopping it, though, is easier said than done.

A clip from last night's report on pitch counts & why they're not actually protecting pro pitchers. When everything's about chasing velo & throwing max effort, the ligaments can't hold. A great analogy that I got from Glenn Fleisig comparing ligaments & tendons to rubber bands:
