So sad to hear today that my old radio friend James Stannage has died. James was wonderful, one of the first to create the shock jock style. Back in 1979 Jasper Carrott did a live show on ITV & mentioned James. Thanks for the shows James, you were the best #RIPJamesStannage

I wasn’t the first to play them on the radio, I think that was almost certainly terry christian Terry also got them on TV first on his show The Word. I just know I played them a lot early doors on Key 103. Tonight I saw them at Wembley Stadium and they were brilliant #Oasis
