Can you tell me why we load millions of tons of Coal on 100 carriage trains, ship it all the way to China, where THEY burn it for cheap electricity, turn it into windmills, shipped back to Australia where we need hundreds of them that wont last even 20 years, and with all this new infrastructure and batteries they expect us to believe it will make your life CHEAPER? 1921 was the highest flood on record In Taree was 5.7 meters. Then it was eclipsed by the 1929 flood at 6 metres… The 2021 touch 5.7 metres… The 2025 flood hit 6.4 metres. These flood groupings are 100 years apart and only a few hundred mm difference in height. The thing is, there are a lot of river flats around Taree that did not flood. That means that at some point in time it has flooded in those areas because that is how the river flats get there in the first place. The climate always changes. Droughts and floods will not be solved by taxes and regulations. Only a idiot would believe the government can change the weather with taxes.
